Had a fun track day at Rockingham Speedway, NC.
Set up the Garmin Catalyst I got - I like it. Lots of cool tools to breakdown the laps. Ended up with a fastest lap 1:11.97 and a whole lot of brake dust haha!
I ran across the same issues. The joint separator kept sliding off as I tightened it down.
I ended up talking to my old man - his suggestion to hit the ball joint separator with a hammer worked like a charm. Two whacks and job done.
Over the course of the last week I started on suspension mods.
Steeda end links in the rear were simple enough once I realized that moving the sway bar to connect both was the way to go.
Also added the front end links, but waiting to connect them to the struts, because I have camber plates to...
There's also a track event, which I am registered for. Same wkd

You can replace the OEM with a shorty shifter if you like. I did so with this one https://www.boombaracing.com/s550-mustang-short-throw-shifter/
Two pics of me removing the stock plastic
I can't vouch for them, but these guys seem to have their stuff together. They do a lot of heavy mechanical work on Mustangs, are a growing business and have plenty of posts on Instagram to get a feel for what they do.
