Swapped out the Steeda H pipe for the new comp version from Kooks. The steeda one was short and prone to sagging.

  5. Brake Pads - Kind of Urgent

You figured it already, but yes replacement pads are cheap and there are multiple suppliers. All you need is a caliper tool to push back the cylinder and a 14mm socket to get the caliper off. The pads just slot right in.
  6. Aftermarket splitter advice

I'm curious what the well educated folks on here think of this one. On paper at least. https://tripleseven-na.com/products/chassis-mounted-splitter?variant=42031742910603

  9. Cannot get my 2018 GT to smog - NORCAL

This is very interesting and also over my head, lol. Luckily for me my 'not ready status' could be waived in NC after proving I drove it. I have been doing that now for 3 years.
  10. Supercharging fact and fiction help me clear up my worries

I have a SC. You don't need one for HPDE and honestly it is a detriment in terms of weight and heat. The Mach 1 is excellent out of the box. With weight savings and good tires, you will be going strong. Now if you really want the extra power (I did) that's fine, but as you get faster and more...
  11. Roush Phase 2 - Top end power

Sorry guys. I have no data right now. I will make sure to get a log the next time I track it. e85 is not widely available near me which is crazy because I live in NASCAR country. I do plan on getting an IC chiller over the summer. I can also have it 'retuned' if that is a good idea.
  12. Roush Phase 2 - Top end power

My butt dyno isn't happy with the top end power I am seeing in long straights at the track. Above 90mph, the acceleration is not what I would expect from 711hp/658tq. Heat soak? Too high expectations? I do see CHT around 235-240F. I pull off the track at 244+ Appreciate any insights.

  15. Mach 1 as a dual purpose street-track car (DE)

Thanks @VictorH I am trying to understand if heat soak (Roush SC) and fuel starvation may feel the same - sudden loss of power. I've always assumed heat soak, but I do run banked tracks (Charlotte) so perhaps it fuel
  16. Mach 1 as a dual purpose street-track car (DE)

@VictorH how do the fuel starvation issues manifest themselves?

  18. Hold out for PP2 or buy PP1 -> Track Build

GT350R > GT350 > Mach 1 > PP In simple terms. Depends how much money you are willing to spend. No matter which spec you get, you will have a lot fun. Tires are the key.
  19. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

Track day at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval course. The new Bridgestone Potenzas were a gamechanger. 8 Seconds off my PB
