Very true. I also see quite a few BMW's, with Sikh's appearing quite partial to them. It's not just CA, it's most of the west coast as we're all on the Pacific Rim with lots of Asian influence.

A lot of people in CA are looking for a tool to get them from home to work and back 5 days a week in absolutely horrible traffic. They want something they can put gas in, change the oil once and a while, and just keep driving without drama for years. There is no joy in driving on the 405 between 6AM and 7PM, not in a Mustang, not in a Mercedes, not in a Ferrari.Honestly everywhere I been outside of the CA they love Fords. The only place I been where people hate American cars is in CA. They love their Japanese brands here.
I think that's called the 2018 Mustang.I don't see Ford doing anything to increase Mustang sales. Maybe they don't have the production capacity to produce Mustangs for both the US and the world. If Ford was interested in increasing sales , they would be producing some special editions.
I was sort of wondering about that. The guy at camaro 6 sources jd powers PIN as his datasource for atps, but I don't have access to that, and "medisin" doesn't really provide any information to back his statistics other than the source, which I can't check. Looking at the demo version of the JD Powah Pin site, it looks like it a has a wealth of other information, seems like he would post that as well. It is all dealer oriented , however I would assume average dealer roi, and gross per the camaro, mustang, and challenger would be just as indicative of profitability as atp is a as a window into company profits per model. This seems to be the illusion camaro6 likes to build, after all. IDK, makes you wonder how much information you would need to make a case that one or the other is more profitable, given neither parent company really releases that info. The dealer derived info is nice, however I remember reading that the dollar menu at mcdonalds drove profits for the company at the expense of the franchisee. Guess technically the dealers could be making money hand over fist on a model while the company losing it by equal margins, and vice versa.Hey take it easy all my info is from Camaro6! Don't ask me to prove anything!

It has had alot of help from the Hellcat and now Demon. Read somewhere that after the Demon's release that data traffic for the Challenger on Dodge's website has been much higher than it was previous. I'm sure the same happened for the Hellcat probably to a greater extent considering it was the first to jump that high in power. It blows my mind how well the Challenger is still selling after almost 9 years.
Because its a great car and has a usable backseat, plus the 15 refresh fixed most of the interior issues and added much needed modern equipment. It always gets compared to the Mustang and Camaro but it was never meant to be compared to those cars. That being said its still impressive the things Dodge has been able to do with how big and heavy it is.It blows my mind how well the Challenger is still selling after almost 9 years.
Likewise. I know drop tops are a small percentage of overall sales, but I think it would sell even better if they had a convertible version. It blows my mind how well the Challenger is still selling after almost 9 years.
Pretty sure the next gen based on the Alfa platform will have a drop top option.Likewise. I know drop tops are a small percentage of overall sales, but I think it would sell even better if they had a convertible version.
I'd never spend my money on a dodge, they are aptly named. Dodge the Dodge!Too bad Chrysler's reliability is awful. One of the few reasons I'll never buy a Challenger. Their QC is beyond horrendous and embarrassing.
They thought it was okay to ship Jeep Renegades to the US with crushed ignition wires from placing the engine in the bay and acknowledged that this is a "known issue". Pathetic.
I really like my '16 Challenger Scat Pack, but it is a very different car than my Mustang. Not really an apple-to-apples comparison despite many people trying to compare them as pony cars. If Ford offered a modern Torino (big coupe, V8, RWD) I would have bought it. But, the 485 hp 6.4L Hemi in my Scat Pack and 8-speed are great fun, and the extra space makes for a nice daily driver with room for 5 adults and lots of trunk space. My Mustang is awesome at the track and is becoming more and more focused for the dragstrip now.Because its a great car and has a usable backseat, plus the 15 refresh fixed most of the interior issues and added much needed modern equipment.
