1350 Mustangs delivered here in Australia for the month of May, normally they were trickling in at about 400 per month, the flood gates have opened? :ford:
Ford was again buoyed by sales of the Ranger (4070 -- up more than 30% in May) and Mustang, which found more than 1350 buyers.

The flip side is we don't expect the MY18 Mustang to be here until the later half of 2018, there is going to be a period where there is no Mustangs coming in.

Well at this point I'd wait for the 2018. I love everything about it but the engine bay and honestly, I don't look under the hood that much so I could live with it.

You should be looking under the hood every time you wash the car and while checking the oil each week unless you don't do either :paddle: :D

Exactly which means the Camaro is #1
What matters is who is making the most profit in the end. Even if the fleet and ATP numbers from C6 is right, Ford still has generated over 100 million more in revenue because of their "fleet" numbers.

Revenue doesn't equate to profit. Fleet sales are the least profitable car to be sold. Our construction company gets fleet prices and there way lower then what most can buy for. Manufacturers don't make much off fleet. But will make a little, but takes more sales to make up the difference to compared to retail sales.

GM is making more though since they sell basically no fleet cars. There is no denying it anymore. Better car. Better retail sale numbers. Better profits. Camaro :first: :first:

Canada set a new monthly S550 record in May. 1698 Mustangs. Best previous month was May 2015 at 1401.

Camaro did a measly 447 and Challenger did only 322.

Even the F150 at 15307 units outsold the Silverado at 5232 plus the Sierra at 6241.

Canada loves Fords.

Just scanning over the sales reports. Mustang down significantly from 1Q16 and YTD sales comparisons. Camaro is up slightly but has improved by 6% from 1Q16 sales figures.

1Q 2017 Vs 1Q 2016

Mustang -23.5% decline
Camaro +6% increase

YTD 2017 Vs YTD 2016

Mustang -27.8% decline

There's no way Chevrolet's getting those numbers with the SS. The 4-bangers are competitively priced but in my area the SS stickers for at least $4k more than a GT. And that's with dealerships claiming several thousand off MSRP.

I don't see how anybody could buy a SS without feeling somewhat burned.

I don't. I've got a garage and it's in there when not in use so the car don't need a bath a lot. I never check the oil either. Maybe I should do that but once a week is little anal IMO but YMMV. It's just a car. A great one but still just a car. I've got other things going in my life that need much more of my attention. I do get the enthusiasm for the car tho. It's pretty awesome.

So yeah I don't care what it looks like under the hood that much. The rest of the 2018 looks awesome but the engine bay.

How about some charts on which Company has the most warranty claims from new owners within a 3-month span of ownership?

Honestly everywhere I been outside of the CA they love Fords. The only place I been where people hate American cars is in CA. They love their Japanese brands here.
It's not just CA, it's most of the west coast as we're all on the Pacific Rim with lots of Asian influence.
