One of my stock ones was torn too and it was even before I really beat on the car. I had maybe six quarter mile passes on it and weekend driving. It sits in the garage most of the time.
I think I tore it on one pass, prior to any suspension mods, when the wheel hop was violently bad.
I went with the Steeda diff bushings and I love how stiffer it made the car feel (accompanied with the other BMR stuff I have). I do have some gear whine but it’s not very noticeable to me and is drowned out by the exhaust most of the time.
I also installed the upgraded diff hardware kit from Steeda too.
After the stock ones were out I was surprised at how flimsy they are.
