One of my stock ones was torn too and it was even before I really beat on the car. I had maybe six quarter mile passes on it and weekend driving. It sits in the garage most of the time.

I think I tore it on one pass, prior to any suspension mods, when the wheel hop was violently bad.

I went with the Steeda diff bushings and I love how stiffer it made the car feel (accompanied with the other BMR stuff I have). I do have some gear whine but it’s not very noticeable to me and is drowned out by the exhaust most of the time.

I also installed the upgraded diff hardware kit from Steeda too.

After the stock ones were out I was surprised at how flimsy they are.

I've got a set of Whiteline subframe and differential bushings I need to get installed.

Got the KDT933s installed (with the included zinc hardware, for what it's worth) and so far so good. There is minor extra noise and muffled clunking from the rear, but it is not as bad as I expected. Definitely livable and the rear does feel tighter than before. I haven't tested wheel hop behavior, but the inner edge of my front tires was found to be worn so I might as well demolish the rears and get them all replaced.

Hey OP I saw the other thread that @AlbertD started and was wondering how the install is holding up.

I have a rough idea of how to resolve my issue but would like to hear how your experiences have worked for you after a period of time.

Any feedback would greatly help, thank you in advance.

Nothing new to report, which I guess is good. I ended up putting my “loud exhaust” (x pipe) back in because the highway drone and run out was extremely irritating on long drives but was otherwise livable. I really don’t notice the NVH increases anymore but I do still feel the increased rear end stiffness.

I found mine with a small tear on the driver's side recently, car's at 7k. Kind of pathetic honestly, I haven't even launched it really. I'm probably gonna install the whiteline insert kit they offer now which just fills the voids of the OEM bushing. Should help prolong its life, versus wasting my time getting a new subframe through warranty just for the bushing to fail again.

That is definitely the ideal solution if your bushings are still intact.

Yes Sir. Just gotta find large enough washers for the front of the bushings to capture them. I mean, that's all really what the aftermarket does anyways. I can grind them down to the shape I need no problemo.

Has anyone used inserts and a sleeved bolt to repair torn bushings?
If the bushing is torn, you replace the bushing.

And you can’t get the stock bushings without buying the entire subframe assembly. It does simplify the install, at least.
