Nothing is dead we just have to respect the copyright it is not a big deal. Minor imperceptible tweet will likely suffice.
Or better yet, don't sell it for a profit. Isn't that what copyright is all about???? Copyimg something and making a profit off of others work?

I am not sure about that but either way I would rather make a few minor adjustments then blow the entire deal up over any perceived copyright issues.

I have a nephew who is a patent attorney. I will ask

Edit to add:
He says it is technically an infringement, but if you are not mass producing them, then nobody would probably care.

And if this follows the same patent/copyright infringement law that is on software, then it use to be stated that any software that had a 20% change in coding was no longer considered the original code and was not subject to copyright or patent infringement. So I would check to see if the same applies to this. I use to do programming years ago and I use to improve the code to BBS software back in the day and had to make sure that my coding change would not have me on the wrong side of the fence.

Again, first things first. They guy who is selling these mounts hasn't indicated at all if he is going to part with them.

I could probably get a set. When I was looking into a CF decklid, I reached out to the same guy that Tob did and he offered them up for me. Whether that still stands or not, I don't know. But people like that you don't want to go to the well too many times. Furthermore, I would be held to the same moral issue and I certainly wouldn't burn a bridge.

What I'm hearing is that there might be more Carbon Fiber in my future lol.
Do your homework. I passed on that because I was told by experts that it will crack if you mount a large wing to it.

Yea dont do CF trunks with These wings. My archetype wing on the 350 would destroy a carbon decklid

I like to disassemble things.
I'm not sure I that I would write off use of a CF decklid for use with a "high" downforce rear wing on the S550. Of critical importance is the mount design and location, and the assumption you aren't trying to use uber light CF decklid that has little to no panel bonded underneath it. The decklid on the GT4 Mustang that Multimatic makes is CF. They designed the mount to be placed in the strongest location.

@Epiphany archetype racing uses the exact same mounts and the wing warped the anderson CF trunk lid. They are working on reinforcements for it.

this is why APR has hose aluminum strengthening spacers between the 2 halves of the trunk shell for the fp350s wing. Even capaldi racing suggests welding support bars across the inside of the factory decklid as it also is too weak

this was confirmed by a very very high up person at ford who has multiple gt350 racecars (on site) i had the pleasure of meeting at the track.

multimatic has to have a different decklid because i can 100%, on my wing at least, high speeds, the anderson CF will be deformed.
