is this an AC wing? Drain hole looks completely different from the one @Tomster posted.
My pix is the AC wing.
Holes only on the bottom near the end plate.
Does not have the OEM slot that allows water on the top to drain off the wing.

That's what I was getting at. You see slots or anything that resembles the patented shapes or locations, It's FoMoCo. Ford didn't include a little tinkle hole such as what Anderson used. Not poking fun at them - their creativity was somewhat limited due to what Ford did.

On the patent note, I hadn't fished through Ford's most recent patents/patent applications so I started digging again. Matt Titus was heavily involved in the development of our beloved GT350/GT500 cars (among numerous positions Matt held while at Ford). I found one he worked on that I hadn't seen...deployable underbody strakes. And it looks like they were testing using a GT500.

What exactly was their intent? From the patent application itself...

In researching Matt, I see he left Ford. Of note, highlighted...

I wish he was still there and am grateful for the kick ass job he did. I hope he's happy where he is now. From the same LinkedIn page, his responsibilities when the GT350/GT500 were king

Interesting, I wonder if said patent will apply down the road on certain S650 variants (street or no).

I believe they already are applying it. Sort of anyway.

While not "active" such as in the above strakes, the Dark Horse looks to be taking advantage of the actual development work Titus was busy with.

Note the airflow going under the car, changes color/velocity, and is redirected outward and behind the front tire. That's precisely what Titus was doing with his work.

I think the GTD has the underbody strakes now, and the current 992 GT3/RS have them everywhere. Looks straightforward to replicate with some vinyl edging or 3d printed bits.

The DH has lots of the flat underbody panels now.
