Yeah this is the way my house is. They all go off, and it's so goddamn loud that I can't even get near one of them to rip it out of the ceiling. What I dont understand is- since they are wired to the house power anyway, why can't that also charge the battery instead of having replaceable batteries that ALWAYS fail at 2AM? I have a bundle of Anthrax letters going out this morning to all fire alarm companies, just to cover my bases.

Makes sense. My cold starts are brutal for my poor neighbors in the early mornings but at wot, my wastegates drown out my exhaust.
Low mounts you have to pump the oil so.its easy to return into the fill cap. Not sure how the top mount kit works but gravity is your friend so tap a fitting like fox said and call it good I'd guess.
As an ex electrician I know this pain to great extent.....
Most folks say after all the effort into making a single kit work, they should have just did twins.
After watching those videos, I can see why. This is going to take a great deal of patience and creativity, in order to pull it off.

Absolutlyi think a lot is boring time consuming stuff. Nothing hard. Heck I just built my first coyote engine everyone thought I was MAD. i enjoyed the process , and my forged sleeved motor with all the good bits cost me less than 1/2 of what I would of if I just brought a crate motor from the USA.
did you consider the CG fabrication kit ? That fits with no wire relocation.
