Hi I recently picked up a Roush Stage 2 for my 2016 and was wondering about supporting mods that should be done as the charger is being installed Exam: Oil pump gears and sprocket.

I plan on headers/clutch.
Have a "Stop the Hop ultimate kit" installed from Steeda along with their K-Brace and aluminum drive shaft.

I'm on some 325's in rears.

I don't plan on the drag strip, should I care about the half shafts?

GT350 Half Shafts are relatively cheap insurance for a boosted Coyote, especially a manual transmission car. I installed mine for some peace of mind. I used some Steeda parts to stop any possible wheel hop. Did long tubes, bigger port injectors, a VMP BAP and a Steeda driveshaft safety loop. Hope this helps. Good luck...

Copy, Thanks for the info. probably wait until next summer for a custom tune, CAI and injectors... First power router, don't wanna be the guy doing stuff above my means, ease into it. The kit came with a BAP, don't know if it will be adequate for 56s/e85 though, still researching.

E85 is going to require some more fuel system work. The 56's and BAP will handle 93 and the Roush. As for tuning, you are going to need at least the Roush tuning. I assume you have that. The half shafts, if you're not beating on it from a dig, you can get away with out them for a while. I know guys who went a full season of drag racing with the stockers, and I know guys break them pretty quickly. As mikengail said, the GT350 units are relatively cheap insurance. I haven't changed mine yet, but I expect they're going break at some point.

Picked up the GT350 Primary Chains and the MMR Flip bracket... still not sold on the tensioners. says "Secondary Tensioners Do NOT work with MMR Tensioner Bracket, please see MMR PN#450484" so basically one of the two sides wont work with the flip bracket.

Those part were relatively cheap... Thank you for your post.

So as of now, MMR Oil Pump gears, Crank Sprocket, Flip bracket, GT350 Primary Chains and Half shafts, Kooks 1 7/8 Green Catted, FP Safety Loop. Still looking at clutch kits.

That's if you have 2018+. For the 2017 and below (coyote) the flip bracket works.

Who is doing the install? I'm looking at doing this as well and I'm in the lehigh valley, thanks

Since that kit is available from Ford - you shouldn’t need anything. OPGs are a safety. But once you start doing custom tuning and fuel system then from what I’ve read - half shafts, clutch, opg, better tires, better cooling for the roush kit, and probably a driveshaft.

Still shopping around for someone that looks experienced, I'm comfortable with everything but the inside the timing cover and that primarily because I don't have the tools/experience for removal. So might just have a dealership do the Oil Pump/Crank/Chains than do the rest myself. Feel like that would give me most peace of mind.

You can install the BOSS/Predator Primary chain tensioners. I just did this so I can confim they work. The have the ratchet so they can keep tension on the chain guides even if you loose oil pressure, whereas the OEM tensioners on the GT are oil pressure only.
