You're welcome. When you go to the autoparts store to get the clamps, make sure you get fuel injector clamps, don't use those worm type clamps. Or just order these type from Amazon, too...
The simplest solution would be to cut the OEM hose in the middle and add a barbed 3/8" piece in the middle with some fuel line clamps to hold it in place. It would probably get you the length you need, but you could add a section of fuel line like one of these that @engineermike uses in his...
The nice thing about Walmart, other than a lower price than most places, is they honor their warranty and there's one pretty much EVERYWHERE. So, if you find yourself out of town and have a battery issue, you are covered.
Simply put the 5 weight is a standard oil viscosity (the ability to hold a shape and resist thinning out when poured out of a container) measurement at a pre-set cold temperature. Oil does NOT thicken as it warms up despite any packages. The 30 weight is a standard measurement at a certain high...
You don't need a dedicated E85 tune here in the Baltimore area (which I believe you are near because you mentioned driving the Baltimore beltway). Most of the RoFo's in the area have flex and I have never seen it test below E70 and that is in the winter. In the summer, it usually tests HIGHER...
I would say the first thing would be to get a data-log of it running and watch what it does as it starts popping and stalls. Have you sent any logs to your tuner?
Maybe @engineermike can shed some light on the subject. He "dabbles" in tuning and has several experiences with the 132mm TB that the stage 2 Whipples use.
I have PAC springs on mine and my soft limiter is set at 8K my hard limiter is 8,300. I have hit 8300 before. You'll be good at 7600 on stock springs. I wouldn't make a habit of it, though. Actually I believe the hard limit, stock from the factory, is set at 7500. You shouldn't have hurt...
Ahhh Atlanta rush (3)hour. I do NOT miss that at all. If you know Atlanta traffic, you know this is one of the worst case scenarios for an auto trans and for anyone prone to road rage. One of the major reasons I left.
I understand that you want it to be lower and it should go down, but if your IAT's are are at 90-100, you are getting full timing. I don't believe it's going to make any more power if the IAT2's go lower than that.
