I have the MCS 2WNR (non-remote) and for this they were set to -10R/-10C.

One thing I need to do is wire the HS2 CAN to a jumper so I can log wheel speed through SoloStorm. Im not 100% sure what I need to do yet, but I think this will help know if Im just lighting up the inside tire and overloading the outside laterally.
I think I mentioned it earlier but if you have OBD Link dongle (this specific brand - one of the versions - LX, MX, MX+....), Solostorm will read CAN data including wheel speeds straight off OBD port (at least on my car it does).

I think it was on rrax you mentioned it. I tried it, but dont get data. Doing a bit of research, mustang has 3 high speed CAN networks, HS1, HS2, and HS3. I think it was only HS1 that is present on the standard OBD port and HS2 is at the gateway module behind the port.

I do have the MX+. When just enabling the high speed data it logs a few standard things at 1hz but nothing from wheel speeds.

To wire it up, I found the data for what two wires (twisted pair) have the correct signal, but Im not sure where to route those wires for connects yet.

Ah - I think they've changed something around 2019 then. I think Brian Meyer (@Gearz here, runs FS GT350) also had to tap into CAN using Race Capture) - he may have an idea on how to exactly do it.

I read a post or two from about 2, maybe 3 weeks ago suggesting that wings were going away, in leu of back to spoilers. Anyone else know anything about this? Just Nationals nonsense?

There was some random comment on the facebook page for CAM where someone claimed to have "heard something from a reliable source in the pits and not to buy a wing just yet".

Then the people from the actual CAM board came in and said that whatever he heard must have been bullshit because there have been absolutely 0 suggestions brought to the board or even suggested informally to change the current aero rules. Obviously CAM-T is still spoilers only, but CAM-S and CAM-C are still wing legal.

That makes sense. Sort of what I figured, but I've been out of cell range for two weeks, and it looked like the discussion evaporated since I read it a few weeks back.

Yeah, they're not going away. Two people from the advisory board confirmed it and it would make zero sense - but - class will be jacket class most likely.

Also, updated Bridgestone with wide sizes coming next year allegedly, since we're talking news now...

18" I think. Time to start shopping for smaller calipers...
That would be silly, but I get it. One would think with all the cars running 19s (Mustang, Camaro, who knows how many imports) a 19" would be a huge untapped market.

Then again, I think the 660+ is a huge upgrade from the old, and a serious competitor to stones in the 19", and if the Vitours are as good as folks are claiming, maybe the market is a bit saturated.

But what do I know. I don't even have a functioning car for the last 4 months. Nothing like riding the fence LOL

I think there is a lot of people (me and Nightmaremoon included) running 18" wheels, there is the entire S197 crowd and just about every import I've seen runs 18" (except Supras probably).
I think they want to have a counterpart with 315 Yokohama but at the end, it's all second or third hand. Who knows what they do.

The wing rumor was from a CAMT guy and yeah I think he was just talking at CAMT (and prob wrong).

Since I’m in Wisconsin now I’ll probably re-up the Yokes, but I’d definitely try a set of wider 18” RE71s if they make em.

Just moved to a new house and its a bit of a fixer upper (and the truck was in a wreck on the way up here) so the CAMC car is back to daily driver duty for a while. I’ll probably avoid events for a couple weeks so I dont press my luck. 2 is 1 and 1 is none
