this. Find someone with a USAA membership and get 20 or is it 25% off.
Did I hear discount for USAA members? @ Tire Rack?

I ran my last event (and will run the rest of this season) on Rivals and absolutely loved them coming from RE71R. I've heard good things about the SC3's though.

Nankang CR-1 may be another option. Similar to the A052, but can get them in 19's.

yes, buy thru USAA.com - actually it redirects to goodyear.com and you pick up at any GY retail location.
@ Tire Rack?
no. Or at least I'm not aware of any tie-in.

$800 for a set of 285/35/19 in SC3,
$950 for a set of 305/30/19 in SC3R is what I paid for mine. But that was late Oct and the discount was a delicious 30%. That's the mounted price. I forfeited that $60 because I wanted them loose.

Hmm Nanking looks interesting

Ok I need tire advice. I've only really run on the RE71R with this car.

The RT660 seems unobtanium until April now? (per Tire Rack guy)

So between the SC3, a set of closeout RE71Rs, and the Rivals in 305/30R19, which would you pick?

I'm also considering taking a 2nd mortgage (j/k) and getting a set of 18s to run the A052, which I think we all know is the fastest setup.
Yeah - I got the last set of Falkens (in the size I assume you were looking for unless you want 315s ;-) ) that was in Nevada's ware house. Inbound today.

For Texas weather, I'd probably try Rivals. I ran set of them last year with no previous experience. Overall not a fan, mostly because they do need heat to work.

It looks like I'm going to have to suck it up and co-drive a Camaro this weekend.

Doesn't look like the Nankang CR-1 is quite here yet (for the 305/19 size)

uh, oh... Soon to be offered for sale, 2018 GT/PP with track-friendly mods. :) 😛
Yeah, I hope I hate it.

The owner is a really good driver, but we haven't swapped cars yet so its going to be interesting.

Almost certainly planning on being there, but that drive up along 65, ugh.... Not looking forward to it...
Eh it's not so bad! I've done the drive from Springfield, OH to the Chicago 'burbs more times than I can count. West Chester a bit further of course...
