Dang, that thing had been failing for a while! Any thoughts on what caused it? Heat, over torque, torquing while still hot, shitty quality?
Driving the car hard until something breaks. I will not entertain any discussions of user error.

How did the stud break?
They spec a high enough torque on the lug nuts that it brings the studs close to yield, IMO. We've beaten this horse before, but 150 lbft is a lot. It should be fine, but maybe QC with the studs hasn't kept up?

Do ya’ll recommend I get the studs done by a shop instead of DIY? “Just in case”?

"How hard can it be" comes to mind with stuff like this.

2 days later, and several new tools, I learn exactly how hard it can be hahaha

Agree though, it's pretty straight forward and I bet there's no less than a dozen videos on YouTube if you get lost.

Don't get all realistic and sh!t. If I can't spend $300 buying tools for a 12 minute project, I don't want to know about it.

Where did you get $300 in tools from?! Cost me $40 for the installer tool, everything else is just common tools, open lug nuts, and the fancy studs.

First event in the books. Finished 9th overall on PAX out of 140 drivers on a mid 30 second course where i dont think i got to full throttle once.

Still figuring out these Yokohamas. Tried to treat them like my Kumho V730's and ran them at 28 psi. They were gripped up, weren't rolling over too far, but also felt really soft on the sidewall. Talking to another driver who's also testing these out in another region and he was told to run them at closer to 37 by a nationally competitive driver there to help offset the softer sidewalls they have. Going to try that at the next event just to see. Car definitely feels gripped up though, but curious if other are at one end of the spectrum or the other on pressures. You can see how much the outside rear is folding under in the photo below.

I don't know. I can get there. I probably need a new jack or something that will ratchet the price up. I always end up spending more than I plan.

If it was first event, they need a good heat cycle to get full grip. They'll be better on next one.

I'd broken them in a bit before the event, the concern wasn't so much the grip, but the lack of sidewall stiffness. Just curious if people tend to run these on the S550 chassis in the high 20's or high 30's as I've been given different advice by different groups. My friend who runs a 2014 GT in CAMC is on the 295/35-18 A052 and was running 34F/28R on his car during the event, but his car is setup a lot lighter than mine on top of of the solid rear axle difference.

315/30R18s on 11 front wheels and 12 rear wheels and 35 front / 33 rear is about where I’m at. I did some testing with temperature which indicated maybe a little higher even might be ideal, but I also know a fast driver who runs them 33/30 or so.

Basically whatever you might run with a normal tire like the Falkens 660 or RE71RS, probably add a few psi for the extra soft Yokes.

I run 33f 31f for the yokos. 295 35 r18 on 18x11. -4 front camber, almost -3 rear. I did lots of science. I’m convinced those are the right pressures for my setup.

@NightmareMoon @WItoTX @mavisky Here is what I got from a few local dealers. Pick your suggestion please. I know I seem repetitive I just like being secure in knowledge especially with your help. Thanks again. All are 295s as I was suggested by two of these places to do 295s to make sure no rub rub on my current setup.

Costco - Mich 4PS - $2k flat
America’s Tire - Yokos A052 - $2.225k
Local Shop - Mich 4PS - $1.3k (does this crazy price decrease mean they are likely old models?)
