I love my QJ. My car is on them now and I go up and down everyday for my winter mods.
BUT: Follow the directions verbatim. Servicing, going up and down to bleed the lines ETC.
FYI: Always make sure before you start using them that the VENT IS OPEN or you will suck the tank in and cause issues.
- Never get complacent while using them. Always Visually verify every time you are lowering that both side ARMs moving freely over the locks and car staying level.
- I also never ever raise or lower without laying on the floor by one side physically watching both sides going up or down, looking at the arms ETC.
- Lastly, if you are raising your car in your garage, keep the garage door open to ensure you don't hit the door. I think they move back about 12" from floor position to all the way up to second lock
**Because you don't want to end up on You Tube with your car laying on its side LOL
Good Luck
Great advice especially about the door. How many-a-time I almost hit the garage door when raising the car. It goes forward quite a bit.

I have come less than 1/2" inch and from that point I pay attention. Lol

I'm currently using my QJ 7000TL to keep my viper away from mice over the winter (I assume it will anyway, maybe they could possibly climb up the structure of the QJ, I don't know)

The jacking points on the viper are angle iron welded to the chassis and they make a "V" where they meet the QJ lifting blocks, they actually dig quite far into the rubber so I bought a set of cheap pinch weld blocks from Amazon but I think I'll need to put them over top of the QJ pads as they are quite thin.

In any event, so far I'm loving the quick jacks for maintenance purposes during the driving season and for winter storage.
That's not going to do anything for rodents. 100% chance they can climb it. I've watched mice climb nearly vertical hiking poles

4 mouse and rat traps with peanut butter on them will trap every mouse and or rats living within 100' of your car.

Sure they can climb it, but they're underneath the car at the pinch weld, not sure where they're going to go once they get to the car.

Had the steeda jacking rails on and worked great. took them off for other suspension upgrades. Jacked the car up on the pinch welds using the QJ blocks. Was an extended period of time that the car was up in the air. The pinch welds actually cut into the blocks, so not ideal. I added the ZL1 lift pads and that issue went away.

I also added the roller balls underneath to assist with moving these around. They are about 100 lbs each.

I bought one a few years ago ('original' model; AFAIK they only had one model back then). Over several years the clear plastic cover on the head/pump/circuitry got brittle, and when I accidentally hit it, not hard, with something the plastic cover shattered like cold glass. Unit still works, but now I'm covering the electronics with a rattle-can lid. Just be aware this part of the unit is fragile unless, of course, they've changed the design.

Suppose to receive my Quick Jack tomorrow. Any advice from those of you using this Jack? Use, setup or maintenance experience? Thanks!
The seals in the air cylinders do go south. Make sure both sides have the same pressure even if it's zero. If one side is more than the other then the side with more pressure will drop slower.

Also, use it at least every 3 months or the o rings in the quick disconnects will fail. Mine did and that's what they told me. Or replace them with something else like Enerpac or Parker. Alway make sure the mid lock or top lock is engaged. Don't extent them fully vertical. It will be difficult getting them collapsed

Where did you get the roller balls? I tried to see the video didn’t work for some reason.

I have the 7000. They work great, but unfortunately I don't have a garage to work in so I have to drag them outside and they weigh a ton. I use them with Steeda low profile jacking rails. One thing to be careful of is when lowering the car I stand behind it so I can make sure both sides go down evenly. One time the passenger side did not unlock so it started leaning towards the drivers side. Luckily, I seen it in time and was able to lift it and make sure it was unlatched again. Other than that, no complaints. They make most jobs much easier and are fun to use.

Mikesly I got the video to work. Looks like a good idea. I checked Amazon and looks like 1 inch roller balls. Thanks for the idea

think you can buy those. Any solenoid manufacturer should have them. Numatics, Parker, SMC, Festo, etc
