Not saying to do this but if there's 0 chance they got your tag and you're already doing 130 you may as well hammer down haha
And if they do catch you, you're definitely looking at jail time and the loss of your car.

Yeah and if you pull over there's a 99% chance that's happening already lol. I guess the moral of the story is don't do 130mph outside of Tijuana
I wouldn't not even in Tijuana, it's too close to the border, they might think you're a drug runner for the cartel. I would go farther south around Ensenada.

maybe in the middle of West Texas or north Arkansas, and there's no town for 100 miles...

Not going to support illegal activity but I've heard and seen that it's not very hard to get away from those 5.7 Chargers and Explorers if one wanted to (in Forza).

I don't know, it seems the officers were out plenty in Cook county and Henrico. Maybe DuPage and west they were more lax.

NoVA you just have to watch your step in FFX, Loudoun, and Prince William. That said I cruise at 75-82 on I-66 from Manassas into 495 (posted 55) at 11pm-5am more often than not and never been picked up. Granted I'm one of the slower drivers at those speeds and times of day.

Stafford County around I-95 the enforcement is far more concentrated than inland even 10 miles.

Ahh, I see you're in Hampton Roads. Well, you beach/ocean-adjacent people be crazy and unruly, like sailors off a long time at sea. Your kind "deserve the lash". :) :) :) /JK
West of US-15 and the nature of the state changes considerably.

VA is one of those states I won't speed in (OH is the other), yet anytime I'm going down 95 I'll see plenty of people doing 20 + over and zig-zagging through traffic. I wonder how many people live in that state and don't realize how draconian and strict the driving laws are?

slow boiling the frog and all that. I started my driving career in Hatfield/Allentown, so kinda out your way in Lehigh Valley.

Yeah the shinanigans on 495 especially are out of control. I'm not sure why with the most cops per capita (save NYC) we haven't put a stop to that by now.

It's not hard at all. Most police dont want to risk their life or especially those of civilians in a needless chase where speeder will probably hit a pot hole or broken pavement or clip a truck hit the ditch roll many times hit a pole and kill themselves.

Should come to CA, it's a free for all with basically zero enforcement. It works surprisingly well for about 99% of the population. The remaining 1% though are fuckin pyschos.

2 lane road with a bike lane and traffic is moving slowly? Just use the bike lane and cruise on by! Use the middle yellow turn lane! Weave through 65mph traffic at 120, no big deal! I've seen people drive on the sidewalk like it was no big deal. It has been years since i've seen people get pulled over by a cop in the city. CHP enforcement can be draconian in certain areas but then you won't see any more enforcement for a few hundred miles. It's kooky.

agreed, but that didn’t really kick off until C19…once that appeared, we had carte blanche…i made it from LAX to sandy eggo in 1.5 hours at 2pm (on a FRIDAY) during that mess 😂

130 KMH (or 80.7 MPH) is an automatic loss of license for a month
145 KMH (90.09 MPH) is an automatic 3 months
Speed cameras usually have a 3 KMH tolerance, that's 1.86 MPH
Anything near 100 MPH or more, is immediate license suspension, vehicle impound at your cost, court, big fine, possible time served, possible permanent loss of vehicle.

We have interstates with a speed limit of 75mph. So everyone is going 85 or faster...
