Pulled over at 130mph

Yes tonight the unthinkable happened. As I was testing out a new tune 60-130. A KY Sheriff was behind me on the interstate. I never saw him and the highway was clear. I finished the pull and look up blue lights closing in. I pull over. Cop gets out. Back up shows up. He asked. Why do you think I pulled you over? I say. I was going a little to fast. Just testing the car out. He asked have you been drinking tonight. I answer I don't drink. He ask for my drivers license and heads to his GMC Suburban. Comes back in 3 minutes. Looks at me. I'm letting you go you told the truth. Slow down. Then started talking shop. What's done to the car....... This was my get out of jail free card!!!

I don't know what county you are in but I have noticed in KY in general, as long as you are not being a danger to others, the cops are pretty forgiving.

If the freeway was full of traffic you could have gone to jail.

I remember doing a 1/2 mile run down a on ramp, Deputy was on the shoulder about 1/8th mile past the ramp. I know he heard me but I was back to the speed limit when I passed him. He hit the blue lights then turned them off and let me go.

EDIT He had a direct line of site to the ramp so I'm sure he had me on radar or lazer.

130 mph? hell here in Ohio they would throw you on death row for that.

You are right...I had to bale my brother out of jail when an Ohio State Trooper caught him doing 120 mph on Interstate 70 in his new 1967 Mustang GT (390 w/4 speed). It was past midnight and the jailer wouldn't let him make a phone call (to me) until the next morning, then he had to wait until mid-afternoon for Western Union to deliver the fine. Funny....he still owes me the bale money!

CA here, haven't seen anyone get pulled over for a traffic stop in probably 4 years. But i still cringe at the thought of getting caught having fun in 3rd gear.
