But as soon as the tech sent ford the Bore scope pictures, they came back with the engine approval in 15 min.
Did you see the pics or get a description of what they found that resulted in a decision for a new engine within 15 minutes?

Sorry bud its long gone. It took 3 days to put the new one in.
Same here, it took 3 days

Yes, got some bore scope pictures, I have no Idea what they are looking at but they thought it was pretty bad for only 9000 miles
Posted Pictures HERE

The Mechanic said it looked like Ring Failure, but could not say for sure unless he were to tear apart the engine.
I did ask if I could buy it. but said Ford Wanted the Engine Back for Analysis.

He also said they sent a GT350R motor by Mistake, but he installed it and did not say a word to Ford. :)
The Engine is a 2019 Spec Motor so I hope it has all the latest parts. it has a Build Date of 12/12/18
and a Spec code: :REP 5.2L GT350R KA 555 AA"
The Spec Code: of my Original Motor was "ROMEO ENGINE PLANT 5.2L HA 557 AA"
with a Build date of 8/23/17 Car Build Date is 9/8/17

The Car data is Posted HERE

I'll go see what my new engine sticker says. Maybe I got the R motor too.

Looks like broken valve and some associated damage. That sucks
Really, the engine ran great, just ate a lot of oil, 1 quart every 120 miles

Looks like I got a R motor too! I checked this evening and it’s says 555 and also says GT350R as well. So that’s two of us. Perhaps that’s good for it’s long term value. Factory R motor in a nonR car.

I have heard that from several people who have had their engines replace in the last few months

Can you send a Picture? or get the number at the bottom of the barcode, I can tell the exact date the engine was built
