  1. Misfiring on 3 cylinders

Any rodents around that might have chewed into the wiring loom?
  2. 2020 GT350R Heritage Edition with 43K miles for 63K

Florida is the land of flood damaged and totaled cars that get resold. Its DMV is pretty weak on this. I’d never buy a used car in Florida unless I saw it in person first and checked the title.
  3. Has anyone gotten this shift knob (or anything) from Auto Fanatic?

He used to sell the center console covered in it, looked really nice but it was way too much work for the price and he stopped doing it.
  4. Repair Costs

I’d total it, and get another one. Hopefully you don’t owe more on it than the check they would write you to total it.
  5. Gt350 or Supra

I doubt you’re going to get an insurance company to write you a policy for a 350 in your name. If they do it’ll cost quite a bit. If it’s in your dad’s name it’s still going to be pricey to add you into his policy. Chances are you will wadd it up into something.
  6. Engine/Transmission Plate Noise FIX!

Mine was fixed under warranty by having them put the updated rear cylinder block plate in. It worked.
  7. 911 vs GT350 Motortrend: Which is the Better All-Around Sports Car?

I’m not sure if it’s a IMSA. But I know the CF1 and CF2 is hard to get, and for a while you couldn’t get it. The GM supplier went out of business and they had to find a new one. Lindsay sells and ships cars nationwide.
  8. 911 vs GT350 Motortrend: Which is the Better All-Around Sports Car?

Lindsay Cadillac in Va has one in stock, and it's got the CF 1 and CF2 package and it's a six speed with upgraded seats and the data recorder. Black with bronze wheels. GM is offering up great deals on these now with a 4K discount.
  9. 911 vs GT350 Motortrend: Which is the Better All-Around Sports Car?

I’m really liking the 4 Blackwing. It’s got the Tremec and the upgraded interior seats and the data recorder. The chassis is very nimble and with a V6 turbo, not a V8, it’s also very balanced. The level of chassis adjustments is big, multiple choices for the suspension, steering, braking...
  10. 911 vs GT350 Motortrend: Which is the Better All-Around Sports Car?

Well I’ve had three 911s and two GT350’s, and I’d say that no, the performance differential does not justify the price differential. It was a 997.1, 997.2 and a 992.1 all manual C4S. I traded the 991.1 in for a CT4 V Blackwing. The maintenance on the new 991.1 was high, a 4 year service can run...
  11. GT350 “easy” to steal?

Go for the Brown Snake….more deadly and mean as hell.
  12. Never thought I’d see the day…300k mustang

Let’s hope they put better AC compressors in this one. You will never see these on the road. They will be bought and stored in a nitrogen filled bubble.
  13. What is the oil consumption test process in terms of the actual test?

In my case, I went to dealer and requested a test. They topped off the oil and told me to drive 250 miles then come back, and they would see how much oil had been burned away. So I did it once, and they wanted me to do it again. So refill oil and drive 250 miles again, drain oil and see how much...
  14. Pursue a buyback?

Pretty sure it happens all across the country. Don’t be so pious.
  15. Pursue a buyback?

He can post the VIN number in here and where he dropped it off at to warn of others. Plus anyone buying a high performance car at Carmax.....should be a bit weary and do their homework. I looked at a few 911's at Carmax, and knew what to look for with regards to problems.....and passed on them...
  16. Pursue a buyback?

I’ve never heard of a lemon law in any state for a used vehicle. I’d turn off the AC, drive it to Carmax and let them have it. I suppose if the OP owes more on it than he can get, that’s another problem.
  17. Pursue a buyback?

Give Carvana or Carmax a call, dump it on them.
  18. Picking up a GT350 soon

Get a spare tire kit, cause the goo inflator is pretty useless. You can get a kit that has a jack, wheel/tire, spacer and hardware. If you cut a tire or get a big hole, you will be stranded and need a flatbed, and the chances of a local tire store having a tire in stock, especially the rear, is...
  19. Which Car(s) do you regret getting rid off

My 1998 Integra Type R. Number 313. I wonder who has it right now. Wish I had pics of it.
  20. Prices are on the rise......

You’re gonna have to settle for “Dual Motors” emblems instead.
