Florida is the land of flood damaged and totaled cars that get resold. Its DMV is pretty weak on this. I’d never buy a used car in Florida unless I saw it in person first and checked the title.

I doubt you’re going to get an insurance company to write you a policy for a 350 in your name. If they do it’ll cost quite a bit. If it’s in your dad’s name it’s still going to be pricey to add you into his policy. Chances are you will wadd it up into something.

Mine was fixed under warranty by having them put the updated rear cylinder block plate in. It worked.

I’m not sure if it’s a IMSA. But I know the CF1 and CF2 is hard to get, and for a while you couldn’t get it. The GM supplier went out of business and they had to find a new one. Lindsay sells and ships cars nationwide.

In my case, I went to dealer and requested a test. They topped off the oil and told me to drive 250 miles then come back, and they would see how much oil had been burned away. So I did it once, and they wanted me to do it again. So refill oil and drive 250 miles again, drain oil and see how much...

He can post the VIN number in here and where he dropped it off at to warn of others. Plus anyone buying a high performance car at Carmax.....should be a bit weary and do their homework. I looked at a few 911's at Carmax, and knew what to look for with regards to problems.....and passed on them...

I’ve never heard of a lemon law in any state for a used vehicle. I’d turn off the AC, drive it to Carmax and let them have it. I suppose if the OP owes more on it than he can get, that’s another problem.

Give Carvana or Carmax a call, dump it on them.

Get a spare tire kit, cause the goo inflator is pretty useless. You can get a kit that has a jack, wheel/tire, spacer and hardware. If you cut a tire or get a big hole, you will be stranded and need a flatbed, and the chances of a local tire store having a tire in stock, especially the rear, is...
