Maybe I missed it but what led to the motor swap @NoXiDe?
History: 36,000 miles. Well, it's really strange so I wasn't going to share. She consumed oil 1 quart and 1/2 half in 1,000 miles but when driven on track it consumed none. A week before the engine replacement, I was told I could continue with the track event as the aftermath wouldn't matter. I was surprised to see it consumed 0 oil on track. I literally brought 2 bottles quarts of oil with me. lol.

Thanks for sharing. Interesting, perhaps what you described is related to vacuum? At WOT your vacuum drops to nil, perhaps helping with oil consumption. Just cruising around town vacuum levels would be higher. Just a WAG.

Either way congrats on the new engine. Next up 1k break-in miles. Did they offer you any additional warranty?

If the oil is leaking past the valve guides - a valve stem seal issue - it's not unusual for it to seem to stop during track use. It's all about how much time the engine spends running with high vacuum in the intake. At the track, you're running six (let's say) 20 minute sessions - that's two hours - at large throttle and low vacuum. City and highway driving racks up hour after hour after hour at small throttle and high vacuum.

Hello; This has nothing to do with the Mustang but made me recall my first car. It was a 1957 Chevy. A four door with a straight six and three speed. Also had vacuum wipers. When I was on the gas the wipers would almost stop. When I let off the gas they worked fast.

Just got word that my 2017 GT350 will be getting a new long block today. The car has a history of AC failures that I have an ooen complaint on as the dealers here were simply filling up the r134 and not repairing anything. The AC grenaded right before the bumper to bunper ended and the dealers ignored me immediately.

Car has just over 40k miles. Less than a year left on powertrain warranty. Bone stock. Changed oil every 3k miles. The only oil related issue I had ever was the tech didnt tighten the filter once so it all leaked out on the way home. Took it back and they corrected it. That was 20k miles ago. I didnt have any major oil consumption issues until recently. Always kept it filled up.

Right side valvetrain started ticking and rattling badly about two weeks ago. I parked it and had it towed to the dealer. Dealer called and said that there was significant scoring on the cam and journals on both sides. Should have it back in a couple of weeks with a new long block. Hopefully I can get the AC issue fixed as well.

2015-2017 S550's had issues with the A/C EVAP cores and some with failing compressors - very common and had been outlined here since 2016:

If the car is in for the engine and you told them about the A/C again, they should fix it. If you're having issues where the A/C repairs aren't lasting, that's something you should take up with Ford Corp. by calling the Ford 800# and getting a Regional CSR involved. They will establish a Case # for your vehicle, bump it to priority and hopefully get that issue resolved permanently.

Almost sounds like VCT or timing tensioner failed if you heard a lot of noise from the head, especially on only one side of the engine.

Keep us posted to your progress.
