Not to nit pick but the engine is not rated for boost. It got the GT500 block but the block is rarely the weak point of a engine from a boost POV.
You are correct! I did some research and learnt its just the block so I thought I'd mention it. All other components are Gen2.

It still doesn't have the oil balancer lines for 4 and 8 like the FP350S engine does, right?

Are Voodoo and Coyote blocks different? I'd think they are but I'm not an expert. I'd think the 5.2 "gen 3" is just a GT block with .2 more.
They are different but the voodoo and predator are based on the coyote .
The “Gen 3” 5.2 coyote is the predator block.

What is the diff between this and Gen2? I read and sims all the same.
Extra machining step in the Gen 3 to clear the larger predator rods .
oil squirters in valley and not the mains.

Do you have to have the block out to install? I got the engine going in and it will be installed by tomorrow most likely...

Hard for me to tell.. but I think that's a Feb 02 2021 build date based on the Julian Calendar.

it can be done with the engine in the car but Its obviously easier done with the engine on a stand .

So I asked the tech and a few other folks, it didn't appear to come with any tech info like a document or anything with an explanation as to what the improvements are. I assume most people don't care and I or our community just fall in that 1% that do.

I'm just curious to know what changes were made and if this build even can be considered a gen 3.
