My first thought was to put a tee in the MMR hose and return it to the water pump inlet. But I don't know if this would cause more problems.

If the flow path is from back to front it would make sense to tap into the heater feed hose. This would place high pressure water flowing into the rear of the head.

I noticed in another thread you said it works. Have you done this? If so how did you plumb it.

It would be helpful to see a 3D diagram of the cooling routing, which is difficult to find.

Best I saw was a ford manual pic that an article on forddiy.com or something had posted.

The sensor is placed in the right rear cyl head cause that's the furthest from the thermostat & the hottest part of the cooling system.

That is cylinder 4, it is mostly cylinder 8 that pops.

I installed the upr version of this, when the motor was out. Haven't noticed a difference. When my first motor blew it took out cylinder 6, not quite 7 or 8.

I assume MMR's HCM and HOM do the same thing but one for oil and the other for coolant and again is there any data to support either mod ?

Why does the Coyote block have the mounting points for both these mods, has Ford used them before ?
