Cooling mod

Well I figured I would share this with y'all, after loosing a engine due to a cracked piston on #8 I think the cooling mod that mmr offer may be a good idea and added insurance for our motors. I'm sure the tune may had a role to play in the lost but I'm sure a hotter running #8 is helping. any engine builders/tuners may you please comment to spread your knowledge.
what were the cylinder head temps? My car is NA and its normally 195-215, but I have seen it as high as 229 and its not even that hot yet.

can you hear the detonation or does that require datalogging?

That's 100% a Failed tune!! The cooling mod is good but not like the older motors. That wont happen with a Professional tune

With the R 170stat I see CHT of 189-197 and ECT of 184- 192
