Is this only for "track" driving? Is it worth getting for normal/sport driving?

I have magneride on my 2021 PP Mustang and let me tell you that it’s worth the investment. I have a bad back and with this the ride is night an day from a non magneride car. I drive around 70 miles a day

it's best for street driving. It's not bad for road course though. Get the FRPP update package for the revised mapping if nothing else. Would be nice to know if PP2 maps (what you get with the FRPP kit) are significantly different from the latest GT350 or Mach 1 maps and if Ford is revising them periodically.

Do you know if it’s compatible with third party engine tunes? If I flash to stock would I be able to flash a new tune without affecting the magneride vdm tune?

PCM != MR controller. the two are completely independent of each other.

I will pile on...had a 2016 non PP GT premium. Now have a Mach 1. I would not go back...ride is so smooth for every day driving and gets locked in on sport for the twisties. I have never used track.

It’s a pricey option, but for overall use, it’s worth it. Unlike a dedicated setup that’s not adjustable, normal is quite tame for every day driving. Sport is more firm and very livable on the street (I’m in Sport mode 90-95% of the time). Track is very planted, but can be a little harsh for every day driving. But, that’s the beauty of Magneride, it’s adjustable on the fly with the flip of a switch.

Ok, I'll bite. What's FRPP? Is it Ford Performance Mustang Magneride Handling Pack? Do I need it I do mostly cruising (sometimes for a long time/bad roads) and never track?

I ordered my Mustang because I could not find one with MR and active exhaust. Both options are well worth ordering.

It seems Magneride is more inclusive to eco-boost cars ans an extra cost option on GT cars
