Yeah
Do you know if itās compatible with third party engine tunes? If I flash to stock would I be able to flash a new tune without affecting the magneride vdm tune?
To each their own but I wouldnāt get it without magneride. The car just feels so planted in sport mode and itās nice to be able to switch to normal if youāre on a bad road.
If it was just throttle response the 93 and e85 tunes would feel the same on the low end and thatās definitely not the case. I have no numbers for you beyond what you can find with a quick google search.
There is definitely a noticeable improvement in the butt dyno with the 93 tune in the low end torque. Itās huge with e85. I have a hard time switching back to 93 honestly.
The last email I had from James after datalogging with the tunes he said that the car goes right into coasting fuel shut off as soon as I let up on the throttle. On the stock tune it apparently does not so he said weāll probably have to play with the conditions for when the car goes into CFSO...
I was just dealing with James directly. Sending it through Steeda just adds a middleman. They just pass on your info to him anyway. His contact number is (407) 744-1881 or email him at [email protected]. He should already have all your info. Heās good about responding even if it takes a...
Iāve actually been dataloging these tunes for James for this exact issue on both 93 and e85 gurgle Steeda tunes. In my case there is zero difference between the standard and gurgle tunes in the exhaust note. He asked me to datalog the stock tune when it does the rumbles and pops and I just sent...
Thanks for everyoneās input! I appreciate it. I would consider a flex tune but my Bullitt is tuned by Steeda and all I currently have are 93 and e85 tunes available.
Does anyone know if there is a feasible limit to how many times you can flash a tune to the ecu? I know with computer flash drives they will fail after X amount of writes to the flash eventually. I mostly ask because I plan to go back and forth between 93 and e85 depending on availability but I...
Just keep the revs relatively low until 500 to 1000 miles and youāll be fine. Everyone pushes redline before that on occasion and it will be fine. Moderation is key. Just donāt really hit it hard until after break in. It will last well into 6 digits.
This part is a game changer. I could NOT feel the clutch engage with the stock part and I learned to drive on a stick shift 30+ years ago. I would love to learn why the engineers decided on the stock clutch spring because it seems like anyone that knows changes it out immediately.
