  1. ***Urgent*** Check Clutch Line At Brake Master Cylinder

The issue is that if the tube snaps, the car can catch fire. Which has actually happened in the past, it's not just a theory.

I think you mean 183 mph - the secondary governor, which can't be tuned out. I can't vouch for it, but rumour has it that pulling out the nanny plug will also kill that. Worth a try, maybe?🤫
  3. Short height issue to drive mustang

Don't let your wife (or anyone else for that matter) drive your Mustang. Problem solved. 🤓
  4. Surprising highway fuel mileage

No way, I've never seen less than 13 on that screen. In town it's more like 18. I didn't even know it could count that low. Were you driving downhill, with strong tailwind? 😁
  5. Changing the Brake Fluid

Closed. Close it, pull and release the hand brake five times, then open it and wait until bubble-free fluid comes out. Yes, the reservoir is the same. Not just Mustangs, but it will fit all modern Ford models, plus many other brands. It's a pretty common size.
  6. How to change 18 GT Digital Cluster to Bullitt Style?

Will this EEPROM also change the initial splash screen, when you turn on the car, and show a green Bullitt instead of the usual pony logo? I'd like the 300 km/h speedo, but without any Bullitt hints.
  7. Formula 1 talk.

Agreed. But there's a slight difference between winning because you're aggressive and make use of every opportunity (something all winners do to a certain degree), and winning because the referee ostentatiously fixed the game in your favour. Using your hand to score a goal in a soccer game...
  8. Formula 1 talk.

This is an extremely weak defense strategy. There's even a name for it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whataboutism I never said Hamilton and Mercedes were saints. Their past mistakes don't make this one right.
  9. Formula 1 talk.

He did nothing wrong per se, but he was nevertheless fully aware all the time that he was taking advantage of an unusual situation that had arisen due to a corrupt official's attempt to help him personally. Whereas Hamilton was completely oblivious to what had happened with Massa and Piquet and...
  10. Formula 1 talk.

Of course you would, because you happen to dislike Hamilton. When a referee makes a strange, unexplainable decision that suddenly gives one of the teams a huge undeserved advantage, that team's fans will always think he made a good call. It's all about whose side you're on. Ask the Argentinians...
  11. Formula 1 talk.

Of course, designing and building an F1 car isn't easy. What amazes me though is that Mercedes, which is an automotive giant, with over a century of experience, during which it has built some of the most exquisite vehicles in history, and which I'm sure employs some of the brightest minds in...
  12. Formula 1 talk.

Well, so much for the hope that Mercedes might have a good car this year. They clearly don't. :frown: Bearman was really impressive. Eighteen years old, his first ever F1 race, starts eleventh and finishes seventh... Unbefrickinglievable. He won't be a reserve for long, that's for sure.
  13. So I go to Volvo for an oil change

That's still much better than a black Ferrari. Each time I saw one I didn't even realize it was a Ferrari until my wife (or daughter, depending on who was with me at the time) pointed it to me. It could have been anything; they all look the same in black. I can tolerate a white Ferrari, but...
  14. Formula 1 talk.

They should complain to their own teams. They're the ones who made the cars lower than is comfortable or healthy. F1 didn't decree that the cars must be so low. Drivers are part of a team, and the team as a whole is responsible for making design decisions that balance the need for speed with the...
  15. Formula 1 talk.

If Russell doesn't want to break his back, then it's up to him to convince Toto to give him a taller car. If Toto wants to win more than he wants Russell to have a healthy back, well, then Russell can find another team, and Toto can search for another driver who is willing to break his back for...
  16. Formula 1 talk.

Why regulate it? Just leave it up to the teams. Let the team and its drivers decide how badly they want to be the fastest and how much of their health they're willing to sacrifice for it.
  17. MEME THREAD 2.0 - NO POLITICS OR ANYTHING YOU WOULDNT WANT YOUNG KIDS TO SEE [READ THE WARNING]

Frankly, I think he did a little. That casual, careless look and attitude that made him so cool was not accidental. He was an actor, and quite a good one at that.
  18. MEME THREAD 2.0 - NO POLITICS OR ANYTHING YOU WOULDNT WANT YOUNG KIDS TO SEE [READ THE WARNING]

Not quite. The true way of being cool is to actually care about being cool, but make it look as if you didn't. If you literally don't care about it, then you'll be just sloppy and ugly. Sloppiness isn't cool. :sunglasses:
