I'm shocked they even caught that it was tinted. Mine's 70% windshield as well. But I'm also 20% on sides, so compared to that it looks un-tinted. Even door windows are illegal to be tinted here in sunny california - so doesn't really matter if I get pulled over, I'm screwed anyway.
I scrub the tires every time, regardless of "browning", seems like they always have dirt on them and I try not to let them get to the brown stage.
I found this tire brush after extensive searching....works great.
I use Dream Maker as well, I tend to switch between that and the Paint Gloss. Dream Maker is a bit harder to apply for not enough benefit over Paint Gloss. I put Paint Gloss on everything, windows, mirrors, windshield wipers, license plate. Typically spray and wipe after blowing off 90% of...
I love mine when it's clean, but black is a bitchhhh...the only good thing is cops aren't looking for it so I get by with a lot more.
If I had GB or Twister Orange, I'd probably be in jail.
Mine is ceramic coated, but it depends on the topper/dry aid I use after a wash whether it gets really dusty.
I tried bead maker for a long time with ceramic coated black, but ends up smearing over time and collects a lot of dust due to how sticky it is.
I've been staying with P&S Paint...
Mine still squeak after 10K miles. If I use the gears to slow down and don't really use the brakes except for light braking, they will squeak...mine doesn't see rain and stays pretty clean. If I purposely use the brakes harder, the squeaking goes away. It just likes to be driven hard.
I am...
almost 11K miles with the Tremec...maybe it's the clutch, but even just rowing gears was a chore at 500 miles compared to 3000 miles. at 10K i'm shifting with 2 fingers, albeit deliberate, but still doesn't take as much force to engage it.
Ugh, had the same thing on the windshield and had them redo it - still has a couple of spots. There are small bubbles in the corners on the back glass, but I can live with it.
Yes, I have the same "grind" into 2nd at high revs. The Tremec seems to act better when you are beating it to shit vs taking your time. I chalked it up to the transmission and continue to do it anyway.
