I'm so ghetto, I would have shoved a chunk of high-density foam (the kind they line server hardware shipping boxes with, or weather stripping) into that hole and called it good. :)

So AJ, what's the deal with the hole behind the wheel on the S650 and can it be used for something other than a bucket into which to collect cups of gravel? I figured it was supposed to let air out of the well and blend it back into the door skin. But I haven't checked to see if there was an actual exit or vanes.
Pictures of this exact hole? I havent seen one of the new cars close enough yet.

How about flow numbers through side rads and/or brake cooling? It seems like these arch lips should be able to have a reasonably good influence on the under-nose flow. I still go back to venting aft of the wheel-well. If you were starting from scratch, you'd have massive venting or no bodywork at all. The Mustang GT3 car is a prime example of the first idea and the BMW GT3 car is one of the other. Posting the pictures was a pain, so I gave up, lol.

Also, drag be damned, just give me downforce! (with the noted exception of Daytona)
Yeah, we saw a larger pressure drop across radiator and oil coolers with them. Canards also had a positive effect on cooling too which is cool.

Looks like the roush stage 3 vents and the gt350 ones kinda combined. Had to go look at my PP1. It vents into the wheel well but there’s no opening under the fog light area. Just a solid honeycomb.

I’m going to be in the parking lot like,

So are those air curtains with factory 19" wheels blocked off ?
With my 18" wheels they are open on my '17 GT.
What ? Nobody with 15-23 Mustangs with 19" wheel can go see if they're blocked ?

Help me understand. Is the back side of that "flap" sucking the air out from under the car? Or is the hot air coming from in front of the flap, behind the wheel?

And does this flap reduce the high pressure area on top of the wheel?

For all your 15-17 GT air curtain needs ( and more ).
18/19/20 inch wheel packages or PP the curtains were not blocked.

Pretty sure my eco with the skinny 19 was open. Gt Pp1 is closed.
Correct. Eco open, GT closed.

I just replaced mine with the Eco ones. Only half the cells are open, but they all feed the channel exiting the fender.

This is all pretty fascinating stuff.

Those Phoenix Design pieces are pretty interesting. Met one of the owners at Willow Springs. Super cool dude.

I kinda wish there was a more elegant solution on the market.
