Just took my car out for a test drive with my new FI Interchiller Stage 2. After cruising, stop and go around town, a couple of WOT runs, and the coolant going into the whipple blower was 30° F. Crazy.

Lol that's definitely a win and then some... No more straight water in the intercooler for you!

I was wondering about how cold can 50 - 50 coolant go before jelling up. It is pretty i.pressive to see the CWA400 operating without issues totally frozen looking.

50/50 will freeze around -40* fahrenheit

100% coolant is around 0* fahrenheit.

Give or take 5 degrees.

I plan to take it to a dyno within a couple of weeks.
Definitely let us know what the numbers turn out to be and get pics of the graph if you can.

Slate Performance said just by adding an interchiller to a Hellcat, the car made 147hp more with nothing else done. Cars love cold intake air for sure.

I'm would say the interchiller increased my HP by at least 100hp just like Slate Performance said they have seen on Hellcats with one Installed. With the AC on and set to 72 f and outside temp at 88 f my IC coolant temps stay around 40-47 and my IAT2 around 70-75 f traveling at 80mph. Even with my 325 R888R tires, my car can spin the tires easily even at 65-70 mph. So, I will not go up in power and I will have to leave my TC "ON" for it would easily spin me out of control at WOT at spirited speeds. But it easily lights up the tires on command at low speeds so which I love it.
But, I had to make so many modifications it really tested my patients. Take care.

147hp with just cooler air and no increase in boost or timing?

147hp with just cooler air and no increase in boost? Is this on a 700hp or 1100hp setup?

I had one of these on my 2003 Cobra back in the day. Worked awesome, fluid in the 30s is awesome.

Would be interesting to get a pull or two at low iat2 and then turn ac off and another at +50 degrees or hotter iat2.

I will ask. I thought he said Redeye which I think is like 800ish crank with their tuning. They build so many different car makes and 100k+ jobs.

HP gains are mainly from those still on pump gas. E85 is much more resistant to temp induced knock, so most tuners don't even start to really sweat until IAT2's are up in the mid triple digits (on E85). But yeah, if you're on 93 and the tune features timing constraints for higher IAT's, chilling the intercooling system is definitely going to allow for max timing more often.
