I unfortunately have to drive my whippled 2017 30 miles to work and back several days a week, and in bad SoCal traffic when its hot out I notice the CHT creeps up, even to 220, while the coolant temp needle is in its usual place about centered or slightly towards the cool side. Which should I believe? The 220 scares me so I roll down the windows and crank the heater, which is about as delightful as it sounds when it's 90+ outside and in parking lot-like traffic.
Note that I bought the large heat exchanger which I'm wondering if is making things worse by shielding the radiator right behind it (I have a base, so no PP radiator).
Thx in advance.
