I pulled my JLT airbox out and dont run one now instead of cutting it up because I figure since I'm running the interchiller, my IAT's wont be affected much if any by the air temps of the motor bay.

@RSKTAKR you might be right about the air temp’s effect on knock but you still want cool air entering the blower to increase mass flow. The supercharger is a volumetric device so hotter air enter means less air entering.

Thanks @RSKTAKR
VMP's video recommends that for the GT500 install. How bad does your tank sweat/freeze over? Hoping I can fit Insulation around this one.

The Roush airbox on the 2018+ kit is fully enclosed and does great job at keeping IAT1 at ambient in most situations. I'd like to maintain that, plus protect the intake filter from the ice tank if it were to ever overflow, leak, or heavily condensate.

@engineermike Have you seen airflow specs for the 2018+ Roush CAI?
Looking to maintain the same flowrate if other intake components need to be swapped. The AFE kit I'm looking to steal parts from has a listed rating of 595 CFM @ 7” (19% flow increase from stock 🤷‍♂️).

I have absolutely zero condensation as my VMP tank is sprayed with truck bedliner or lizard skin so no condensation.

Yours mounts on the fan shroud right?
It mounts on top of the shroud and then the bottom of the tank is also mounted to the front subframe.

Hold on.. Think I found a better option to fit the ice tank. Modification is still required.

So much room for activities!!
Waiting on confirmation of the differences are between the N-MT14-4 (NO Tune Required) and PMAS N-MT14-3 (Tune Required) kits.

Anyone know of a MAF port delete plug that fits the S550??

I'm still going to post the tank retro here. Adding more coolant capacity is a must do to optimize the chiller's performance according to FI.

The tank and fender well CAI are here. MPAS gave an awesome discount on the CAI with understanding that I share with them how I get it to fit the Roush SC kit.

The VMP GT500 tank looks to be at least 1.5 gallons.

Just saw your maf delete post. I might have one from one of my old Ecoboost F150 CAI’s.

edit: nope, I don’t lol.

Thanks anyway.
Luckily PMAS was able to provide the cap.

I am looking into this kit myself for my Roushcharged 18'. Curious about the blower spacers. Did you put these on? Seemed like I had saw where the 18's and up had issues with hood clearance and spacers. Just wanted to confirm that these work fine on 18-up GTs. Thanks for the help.

I don’t have the phenolic spacers installed. I might later. @Grimreaper has posted some good info on them.

Also consider a thermal blanket for under the IM. I think FI sells them now.

Before summarizing this project, I wanted to run the car for a season with the added ~2 gallons IC coolant capacity. I'm extremely happy with the FI interchiller stage 1 kit. It has exceeded my expectations. The kit is outstanding quality.

I wish that I could boast about crazy quantifiable power gains.. but I intend to continue running the Roush P2 tune. It caps a ton of potential.

I see gains due to the system no longer pulling timing during persistent foot mashing. The chiller makes the Roush SC repeatable and predictable on hot and cool days. I see 18-19 deg spark advance every WOT. This is an enormous improvement for spirited daily driving applications with a PD supercharger.

My chiller maintains 10-25°F water temps in chiller mode. 20-55°F with the cabin AC enabled.

There's room for improvement with my install. I wasted some cooling capability due to lack of insulation.
I should add a pressure relief valve to the VMP tank. @Navymike found this one:
