Faster working rear defrsoter. My takes FORVER!
This, sometimes I don't even think it's working, but eventually you start to see it.

Oh and a HUD, it's one thing I miss from my camaro.

Heated recaro seats, don't need air, just heat. 3.31 gears for pp. Little more power and exhaust noise. Vacuum gauge on pp seems silly, oil temp gauge would be cool. But, it's fine the way it is, I even like the ridges in the hood.

If i were to change anything about my car...

I would get an auto. I forgot how much of a pain city driving and freeway traffic can be with a manual.
.
Yeah I drive through San Francisco daily, I decided to go automatic and don't regret it.

If I drove mine daily the auto would have won my PP or auto debate when I was buying mine. But since I don't I chose the PP as I regretted not getting it on my 13.
And couldn't afford a LE lol

Not going to lie, I didn't do any research before buying the car (researched a WRX for weeks, when the time came the dealer was an ass hole and I bought the Mustang out of impusle) and if I knew about the PP then I probably would have had a hard time deciding as well.

Probably would just have not gotten a Mustang then to be honest lol.

1 inch lower for the seat and 1 inch further extension for the steering wheel.
A better shaker system. My 2011 GT/CS had a better shaker sound and my 2013 Taurus had a great sounding Sony system.
FWIW I love the "Ground Speed" retro back to the era of the P51 Mustang. One of the inspirations for the S550 design was a little bit of aeronautical design cues.

Weight.........S550s are overweight and should be around 3300 lbs max
Ford and many of todays MFGs are full of crap when they talk about fuel
savings and then make 3800+ lb pony cars..Even the new camaro is lighter
than a GT...w t h !

If I could change anything, I would have the s550 come with beefyer halfshafts like the gt350, so you dont have to drop 1500 bucks just to be able to take it to the strip with the mt-82...

3300 is old Corvette territory, I don't even think C7's are that light anymore. That is a tough weight to achieve with today's refinement that customers also demand. It's not going to happen without spending some serious money on the platform.

My 2nd car was a 1800lb Honda CRX. Every other street car I've owned is too heavy. Thank you government regulations and unneeded fluff features.

Heck, my 1500lb SRF is too heavy for what it is (a Formula Ford by comparison weights more like 900lbs).

I'd swap the locations of the radio control buttons on the steering wheel with the menu buttons for the in-dash display. I mainly drive with my left hand due to shifting gears and it would be more convenient to have the radio control buttons on that side.
My wife and I were just talking about this last night.

Ray Evernham's show Americarna had an episode for the Mustang. One of the designers was on that show and said the name Mustang was chosen because they liked the name and it was not named after anything.
