I tried that number too, lol. Actually, it is parts.ford dot com that I got that part number from. I believe it's the official ford site. You don't get the full part number until you complete your order. I ordered one of each to compare.
@bauern, any updates on this ?

Also heads up ... I heard Ford is getting ready to jack up prices .
They Increased the price on the Boss crank I hear to almost $500.

you can still get the Gen 3 cranks(same as Boss just balanced different) for $300 but they are also going to go up next .
Another forum member noted Gen 3 SB ā€˜s had increased in price but auto nation Ford still has them for $1900 plus core .
I suspect prices are going to go up across board including the Gen 3 bare block which can still be had now for $800.
Just because Ford price goes up doesnā€™t mean anyone elseā€™s will. Companies buy from Ford in large quantity so they get a wholesale price and pass some of the discount to the customer. I can get boss crankshaft right now for $349.00. Maybe they just have not changed their price yet but they are still out there

@bauern, any updates on this ?
I contacted fordparts.com, they couldn't tell me which engine KR3Z-6564-A rocker arms were for.
Haven't made a fixture to measure them accurately but
hl3z-6564-d
jr3z-6564-a
jr3z-6564-b
externaly measure and appear the same.
jr3z-6564-b even came with a lash adjuster, but the bag was open. ( I could have cut it when I cut opened the shipping bag).
The full set of rockers for the 5.2 heads are still $425 from ford performance. They also have a set for the predator $500.

Still waiting on confirmation.

When I ordered he said they had a predator block in stock so I paid.
In either case you'll have to order a couple of oil galley plugs, dowel pins to locate the timing cover and rear seal plate and the dowel pins for the timing chain guides (and oil squirter valves if you intend to use them). These are not supplied with replacement part # blocks.

It seems the predator block has come down quite a bit. The dealer I usually order from has it for $1809. (+shippping)

Minor things to consider are the oil squirters. If you're not going to use them, it doesn't matter which block you use. If you use them, the voodoo squirters for the voodoo block don't cause issues with the piston skirt since they are in the main webs and they're cheaper.

Thanks for the tips. Iā€™ll be sure to order all the bits and pieces when I go to pick up the block from him.

Not seen the Predator rockers . Got a link ?
if they are sold along the previous 5.2 version might that indicate they are different and specific for the predator cams?

PS... please stop tempting me
with this ridiculously low prices on blocks . I need a another build like a hole in the heads . Lol

"Upgrade your roller finger followers to the GT500 part.
  • Fits 2015-20 5.2L GT350 cylinder heads
  • Fits Gen 3 2018+ Coyote cylinder heads
  • Contains (32) camshaft roller finger followers from the 2020 GT500
  • higher strength wheel and bearings"
It would seem that the gen3 followers interchange with the GT350

I reread my post and it's not clear but Voodoo block gets voodoo squirters, Predator block gets gen3 coyote (smaller nozzle) or predator squirters.

So looks like just a revision of the previous M52 part.
Retail is about $420.
I can see using them on 18 GT heads as the OEM part is may be even more expensive the last time I looked at $24 a rocker !
