Hey has anyone recently tried to purchase a ford track handling pack suspension? The ford performance website no longer has the buy link, and when trying to search for it on the ford parts website directly nothing comes up any more.

These are the only results under "Handling packs"

no buy link

street handling pack (PP1 kit) is available:

Hoping its just backordered and not discontinued, I'd been waiting a while to save up the cash for it and now that I finally have the money ready I can't buy it. :( Steeda claims its in stock but if ford doesn't list it I'd be surprised if its actually in stock and not just drop shipped.

Anyone know?

Hey junits15,

As of today, no guarantee tomorrow, We have exactly x1 161 M-FR3A-MAA in stock.
Ford Performance currently has an ETA date of 10/3/25 on this kit.

We don't have M-FR3A-M8A currently in stock. Ford Performance currently has an ETA date of 10/31/25 on this kit.

If you place an order with us for the M-FR3A-M8A, it will reserve you a set once they are back in stock.

Let me know what you think.

Sure, oooorrr, check out our Steeda 555 8210 Mustang Sport Lowering Springs - Progressive (15-26) with a set of Steeda 555 8150 Pro-Action Mustang Shocks and Struts - Non-Adjustable (15-26).

The 555 8210's are a nice progressive spring that would ride great on the street and get you above PP weight when you step on it.

If you wanted closer to handling pack, check out the Steeda 555 8223 Mustang Minimum Drop Lowering Springs - Linear (15-26)

The Track Handling Pack has had long ETA’s for quite a while. First time I’ve heard that the Street Handling Pack is now in that boat.

Just spoke to Ford Performance yesterday and the Track Handling package has an ETA of 10/31. Said that their was a supplier change on some part(s) and engineers are re qualifying them. I suggested that they come in a half hour early because I have already waited 8 months. He said that would not go over well.

I guess on the positive side, they’re not getting rid of the packs so that’s good. Sucks that you’ve had to wait for damn near a year for it

Take any feedback form Ford with a grain of salt. They gutted American-based Engineering and Purchasing in 2022-23 and most service parts/aftermark product support is handled through India and Mexico by people strong in paperwork by deficient in actual product knowledge. Any Production-released components still receive proper validation but things can get sketchy with non-production sourcing, Quality, and validation on non-production applications.

I just put it out there. I do wonder what would happen if FP started receiving an inordinate number of calls inquiring what the hell is going on if they might step up? Would they see an opportunity , or would they just let it languish like they have obviously done?

At least in my experience, an opportunity ignored is an opportunity lost.

Question? Are any of you in Helena, Montana this weekend?

Like John S said above: Ford engineering was gutted during the idiotic scramble to go EV. Powertrain, Vehicle Dynamics, Manufacturing, all threw out DECADES, maybe CENTURIES of experience. Prototype Parts Management, Purchasing, even PAYROLL got moved overseas.
Ford Performance Parts has been "re-focused" or restructured multiple times over the last few years. The have to fight to justify any budget to develop parts. The older guys were experienced in working with U.S. based racing suppliers and getting things done. Now their rookie replacements have to piggy back testing with the vehicle guys and HOPE they can get a few passes or laps on their parts. The Racing side (GT4, GT3, DH Challenge, and NASCAR) and the vehicle side (GT500 and Raptor R) are run separately from parts. The GT500 was launched by the Old Guard. Raptor R was pretty much through launch before all the changes reached critical. G7 performance cars are all getting launched with the new regime.

You can FLOOD them with calls. The way things are currently, I doubt you could get through to anyone who actually knows what is going on. And if you did, chances are they will be in a new position the next time you try to call. Habla Espanol??

Outsourcing (as most old guys like me know) started back in the late 80s , I lost me job of 15 years forming aluminum and Steel parts by hand or with a Die and Punch , in June 1992 . The amount of outsourcing that has happened since is crazy and most likely will continue. We can debate why , but wrong Forum for that IMO . Happy Motoring

Don’t waste time waiting. I waited 10 months and was told at the end of October that it MIGHT be available end of January. Piss on that.

Ordered FP Track Handling shocks, BMR Handling springs and bars, and Vorschlag Camber Plates. Had everything in five days.

I just dealt with this same problem, Nobody had the track kit in stock. I ordered the shocks, struts, and springs from tire rack. They also have the sway bars. I ordered the toe link bearings from American Muscle.

I also bought Maximum Motorsports camber plates. I love the way the car rides and handles.
