Almost 6 month update:

I love this tune. My car just feels great. The adjustment to rev hang alone was worth it, but I just can't say anything bad at all about it. So very happy with it.

Echoing something I've said in another thread, but the value is something else as well. Most of the aftermarket CAI/Tune kits come in at about the same price but only 2/3 the power gains*, AND you can can keep your warranty.

*Or in the case of the Roush Power Pac, $100 more for half the power.

Or tuning for e85 with no hardware changes can double your power increase for less $ and keep your iats down that you see with the open intake. But of course is dependent on availability of e85 in your area.

Warranty is not kept or not kept either. If you take your car in for warranty work and the issue is directly related to the mod then Ford can deny the claim. If you go the FP route Ford can still deny the claim but then FP warranty can cover depending. If going the e85 route and warranty work is not directly related to the change then Ford warranty still covers. Example, you tune for e85 but your ac needs work Ford warranty still covers no issue etc.

Also still happy how this tune woke up the car. Running on 94 octane. Nothing bad to say about it other than I am spending more on gas. You want to play, you have to pay.

I've said it before... a big negative is once it's installed on your car, you own it forever. Can't sell it and transfer later to another car (unless Ford changes this policy). It gets locked to your vin. If you like to flip your upgrades, this is not the tune for you.

You would have to buy another tuning device and another tune and likely replace the throttle body with oem. Would be much more cost effective to go straight to e85 and custom tuning.

Yes. But you'd have to get a new tune and a new tune device. Then the tuner would have to adjust the tune for the different throttle body. If you plan on E85 - don't get this setup. Just get a tuner and E85 tune. By far that is the biggest gains on the later gen Coyotes, that I've seen - short of forced induction etc.

I didn't get this package for the HP gains - I want some gains under the curve and some torque pick up in the lower RPMs. Odds are I'll add 4.09 gears this Fall and call it a day.

My factory powertrain warranty is valid until 8/16/23, and the extended warranty until 8/16/25.

I really want this kit, but I can't afford major out of pocket expense right now should something not be covered.

This kit is warranted because there's virtually zero chance of it causing engine damage - if it's installed correctly and you run premium gas. It's very conservative and really just takes advantage of better timing from high octane gas, and allows more aggressive shifting.
I installed mine myself (4 years ago) - since I did it myself I'm confident it was done right. If I paid a shop to do it I wouldn't be so sure.
