  1. Illinois-Chicago

Lol, thanks for explaining that. So in theory, I should be looking for a set of touring mufflers, because I already have the sport? Sport Axleback: Sport Muffler Sport Catback: Touring Muffler Xtreme Catback: Sport Muffler That certainly is... one way to do it. And indeed, CJPP is gospel.
  2. Illinois-Chicago

Do you think this applies to both catback and axleback systems? My previous owner did a corsa extreme catback that I still have installed, and I've always thought about going down to sport mufflers, but not sure if it will make a huge difference with the X-pipe still there.
  3. Steeda Clutch Spring + ?

Yeah, it's not a problem everyone has had. For all the problems the MT82 has, this actually seems like a fairly uncommon one.
  4. Steeda Clutch Spring + ?

Thanks for the video for reference. Mine hasn't done it for awhile actually, but it sounds more like a creak than a squeak like yours, if that makes sense.
  5. Steeda Clutch Spring + ?

That makes plenty of sense. I still lean towards just going with the beefier aftermarket perch because I am replacing the spring either way, and I've been driving on the squeaker for about a year now. It seems like the most thorough way of killing two birds with one stone and worth the combo...
  6. Steeda Clutch Spring + ?

I get that, but I think the perch might be the root of my creaking noise. I tend to lean towards getting the full kit just because I trust Steeda more than the OEM.
  7. Steeda Clutch Spring + ?

In response to the both of you: Do we think the combo of the spring and the perch together would knock out the creak? I assume it needs some lubrication just as part of the install...
  8. Steeda Clutch Spring + ?

Hey Gang, So about a year ago, I got an MGW shifter installed and absolutely love how much it's ironed out a lot of problems with the MT82. Almost no more nibbles and rattles from the stick, and I love the way it looks with the GT350R shifter from CJPP. However, helping that issue has shifted...
  9. Is the S550 Really a Fastback? Why?

This gives a whole new meaning to the saying my dad has in regards to almost-too-small parallel parking spaces: "Are you kidding me? I could park an aircraft carrier in there!"
  10. Because if you buy a sports car with an automatic, you deserve to sufferJasonCammisa , 2021

Not an "issue", but I have had more than one person question why my left calf has so much more definition than the right. Lol.
  11. Because if you buy a sports car with an automatic, you deserve to sufferJasonCammisa , 2021

This seems a tad extreme. There's a lot of space between something you daily in Cali traffic and a 100% track car. Stop and go can be an absolute pain in the ass with a manual, but I think you'd view it as worth it if you didn't do it all the time. Personally, about 15% of my daily commute...
  12. Rented an Eco-boost...

I'm choosing to believe this is one of those stories where all the underlings tell the person in charge that this isn't working, but rather than wondering why after four hours he's like KEEP GOING IT'LL WORK EVENTUALLY. See Also: Hitler invading Russia in winter.
  13. Rented an Eco-boost...

How in the blue hell do you blast 28,000 gallons of water on an EV without somebody coming along telling you that you're not supposed to do that? In IL they require the first 2 digits of every EV license plate to be "EL" so that when the fire department shows up and sees one on fire, they know...
  14. Your thoughts on IRS

Throwing my hat in the ring here. I have regularly driven two mustangs in my life: A 2012 V6, and my current 2016 GT. I understand where OP is coming from that the live axle is a different sensation and in some cases, preferable. That being said, I find it weird that most of this conversation...
  15. Rented an Eco-boost...

I had a rental EB while my GT was having warranty work done. I actually though the power was good, but found the A10 to be a HUGE letdown. Was awkward and clunky as all hell. It didn't have a ton of miles on it so it's not like it had been thoroughly abused yet either. Pretty weird because it...
  16. Mustang GT vs ... (Post whatever you've raced and how it went)

Indeed, and most people don't realize that despite the initial wave of torque from a stop, those things are still less than 300hp. Again, I had always though he would torch me off the line, but I looked up the 0-60 time and was surprised to see it was over 5s for the lower models.
  17. Mustang GT vs ... (Post whatever you've raced and how it went)

Indeed, was a pleasant surprise unto myself as well.
  18. Mustang GT vs ... (Post whatever you've raced and how it went)

RWD Range Plus, which at the time he go it, was only one step above the lowest base model you can get (now they made Plus the standard). Sure, beating a base model shouldn't be that exciting, considering its supposed to be the equivalent to something like an Accord (price not withstanding). But...
  19. Mustang GT vs ... (Post whatever you've raced and how it went)

Not sure what has been going on for the last few posts, but dropping in to say I absolutely waxed my coworkers Tesla Model3 last weekend, despite me making a complete hackjob of the launch. We were dead-nuts even through first and second, but when I grabbed third I walked him. Funny thing is...
  20. Corsa's New Track Exhaust: Sound Clips IN HERE!!

I saw the title of this thread and immediately thought: "How on earth could they make a muffler louder than the Extreme?" Then I saw the picture of the axle-back system and audibly gasped loud enough that the guy in the office next to mine asked what was wrong.
