My buddy is giving me a pretty solid deal on a Sai Li fuel system, but I want to upgrade some stuff on it to make sure it'll be solid. It looks like it comes with the bucket w/ dual pumps, wiring harness, and fuel rails. What do you guys suggest I swap out or add to make this a solid kit? Going on a 2023 mustang gt with a ess g4 kit, currently on a 120mm but looking to drop to a 100mm-90mm. ( may need triples for 90mm but not sure )

Isn't that the stock fuel rail?

I think the kit comes with stock fuel rail, that's one thing I'm upgrading fs to billet fuel rails by fore or some other brand.

What are you doing for a fuel filter?

I honestly do not like this system. How does it trigger the second pump?

Not to sure, whats in the picture is what I get and looking for suggestions on what I should add. Already figured I'm doing fore fuel rails w/ F2i Fuel Pressure Regulator so far

I’m sorry but that system has basically no redeeming qualities, except maybe price.

I’d like to understand how the venturis work though. Thats a stock gt350 bucket. The gt500 bucket is similar but it has bigger pumps. In the gt500 you have to replace both modules and the internal crossover hose for it to work right, so I’m wondering if that one is the same way. Also, it deletes the fuel filter so you’re raw-dogging filter-less now which is no good for the gdi pump. You also sacrifice the pcm control of the pump and all those advantages, oem diagnostics, and the capacity isn’t even that great.

Basically a dw400 with an 18v bap and a fuel rail upgrade will do the same or more flow but without all the downsides.

This fuel system is a return style fuel system and both pumps run together. I believe they are just full on

I just posted this exact answer in another thread. Here is my 2 cents
I would run two stock fuel pump modules. One on each side of the tank, Drops right in. Then just run a second FPDM. Both pumps will work at the same time and both pumps will be controlled through PWM by the computer, Just like stock. This is the easiest and best setup to run without investing in a complete system. You can even use this as a return style fuel system if you need to. You will never have any problems with hard turns, pulls, stops anymore

If you’re set on buying and using that kit, I recommend replacing the pump, so that you‘ll know they’re fresh. Factor the cost of new pumps into the purchase price and then determine weather you think it’s still a good deal.

A lot of people have used this system in the past. A quick search of the forum reveals that it doesn’t have the best reviews. With fueling being so critical, my personal recommendation would be to look for a better system.

However, if you’re set on running this, like others have mentioned, I’d recommend replacing the pumps, and plumbing in an inline filter.

If cost is the motivator, just go with a DW400 and BAP. It will provide plenty of fueling.

I'm buying this for about 500 , pretty much even if I replace and add some stuff it would still be well below 1500 while most kits are around 2k

My whole radium setup was about $1500 and it works great, rails and all. I've seen a bunch of Sai kits have so many issues including massive leaks from the bulkhead and burned up pumps, let alone the fact that with stock gen3 rails it isn't going to support that much on e85.

I gotcha. At least the lines are already made for you too which will save you some time and aggravation. I recommend flushing the lines well before use, in case some dirt or debris may have gotten into them.
