I had cattless lth, steeda H pipe resonator delete,and roush axle backs before I put this on.
Like you said, the h pipe sounds good at idle, under 1800 rpms, and wot, but in-between it just loud and unrefined.
This resonator did clean a lot of that harshness and rasp out, and noise level went from a 10 to a 4 maybe 5. It's actually a perfect balance. I do hear the hollow metallic sound, that I can deal with. Mine has a secondary noise that is absolutely embarrassing. It's a loud woowoowoowoo sound above the exhaust. Think of a tuning fork amplified by a microphone.
I've been trying to get this resolved with cj pony parts and borla. I'm not asking for a return, only an exchange but they keep giving me the run around. I've been having it installed for almost 2 weeks and 600 miles, and the secondary sound is driving me insane. Even my teenage daughter asked me what that horrible noise was just cruising at 65mph. Just frustrated.

That's exactly what I am hearing with my Acceltec Resonator. I describe the Howling or WooWooWooWoo sound like someone blowing over a nearly empty beer bottle! Once my ear gets tuned into this sound, I find it unbearable!! Its all I can hear!
I worked with CJP, difficult but polite, to get a replacement. I assumed it was defective and this could not be "normal". CJP told me they could not get an Material Return Authorization with out a Photo of the defect! WHAT?!? A photo of a sound defect? So I called Gibson performance exhaust directly, the manufacturer of the part. Gibson approved CJP to send me a replacement, which they did. I installed the new part and got exactly the same result! UGH!!
I think I'm going with the C&L H pipe as the crossover is far to one end, that will give me room to splice in (2) Vibrant Bottle resonators. I purchased the Vehicle with an X pipe, it was just to loud and also too raspy ( the later more undesirable). I'm hoping the new combo is a good blend of volume and as little rasp as possible. As frustrating as it is, its always some consolation to know you're not the only one. The internet at least provides you some sanity when the seller/manufacturer tells you, "I've never heard of that problem before". We always find company in our aggravation on a forum! Thanks everyone, Lets pester the crap out of CJP and Gibson Performance exhaust, its just a crappy, untested product!

From a company in Australia but to be fair after the import taxes etc have been paid it would be cheaper to put some 12 inch bottle resonators onto an existing Hpipe.
I was intending to do this until I got the switchfire.
I have to say it sounds amazing. No rasp no drone at all.
It sounds soo smooth at low rpm’s too.

The odd sounds, its flow restrictive. To many of us had issues. Bring back the Tru X.

I’ve ordered the H pipe and (2) Vibrant 12” bottle ( or, if you’re in Australia, hotdog) resonators. I’ve lined up a welder I’ve had do other work for me who is Fabulous, incomparable skills! I’ll take pics when completed, and a video when it’s installed.
i’m very excited! If it sound anywhere near as good as the Aussie “hotdog” H pipe I’ll be thrilled!

I Sent CJ Pony parts an email requesting my money back sighting this thread with all the problems. It’s not about the money, it’s the principal. Retailers and manufacturers should be held accountable for crap products!
May I suggest everyone who has purchased one of these Acceltec crossover resonators, ask for their money back from CJ Pony Parts.
