@CompO5.sl0w The Roush side scoops will look awesome Trevor. Of course Iam not being biased or anything. lol :D:thumbsup: The calipers will look great too. I think on a non black S550 the calipers being done look great. I have a propane garage heater and heated it up to do my side scoops and window scoops and no issue. I used a hair dryer on the areas where the scoops were being adhered to just enough to get it warm and they are on there really good.
Haha thanks Jeff! I use the same to help keep it somewhat comfortable when wrenching on the car lol. I think I may do the same then, especially with these nicer temps the next couple days. We'll see how I feel come Friday evening. Thanks for the tip!

Make sure you use the template on the side scoops. Everyone I've seen that doesn't tries to line them up with the crease. It sits just below the crease actually.

Can't wait to see them on and especially the calipers!!

Thanks Jarrod! I'm anxious as well! It's going to make the front brakes look massive lol.

Will do! Thanks for the tip man!

Lol! I was wondering if anyone was going to notice. Was trying to make sure the paint matched exactly.

I have a splitter on order now, could stand it any longer, lol. I don't plan on putting the rods on but wondering since you didn't have them on your car if you could take a pic next to a ruler or measure them. I'm gonna look into some black ones as back up in case for whatever reason i need to install the rods.

Also hows the splitter holding up to. Gonna be taking a road trip in march and will hope to have the splitter installed by then. And am curious of the highway speeds and the splitter catching air. My concern is that it pulls it down at speed.

You're looking to know the size of the rods? I can get that for you tonight man.

So far it's holding up great. I've taken it on the interstate a couple times. It droops a little in the front but mostly from my bolt placement. I should have bolted it a little closer to the PP splitter. I bought a few more bolts at Home Depot last week to put a few more on up front. A buddy of mine, BaggedCobra, had said he took his to Mustang Week with no issue. At the end of the day there's still 12 bolts holding that sucker on.

True, with it being up front it's gonna be prone to chips and want something like that boss version where everything is mostly black. Might see if i can get them powdercoated or anodized. Just know most of the times coatings chip/scratch on the thread parts if not done well.

I'd probably just paint them if it were me. I'm with you on not spending $300+ on a set of rods for the sake of a color change too lol.

Looking good brother! See what I mean about the scoops? Sits just below the line for a flush fit! One of my favorite mods! Really gives the car an exotic look.

Typically, I'm not a fan of stick-on scoops, but I made the exception when I saw these in person!

Finished up the grilles brother?

Thanks man! Same here. These are the first stick on scoops I've added to any vehicle. Thanks for the tips too! Mine didn't come with anykind of template so I did the whole thing with my eyes lol. I was sweating bullets to make sure it was straight and in the right place.

Not yet, actually ordered the mesh this weekend. Been slacking lol. May tackle it this weekend coming up.

I agree about the scoops. They sure do look good on yours and his, not sure how they'd look on black though, since stuff tends to get lost in black.
