The stock resv overflow is right under the back of the cap neck and just drips down the back of the resv. The JLT may be the same way. (Think of it like the overflow drain on a sink.) The cap has to seal properly to maintain proper system pressure. So I imagine the JLT is setup like stock by the sounds of it and maybe your resv is overfilled? If your cap really isn't sealed properly that could be adding to the issue if the system isn't under the proper pressure it will boil over.

Yeah this may be the problem you are having. Does the JLT utilize the OEM cap or their own?

OEM cap but it doesn't thread all the way down. So it threads down twice if that makes sense, once to lock it and the 2nd time to seal it. I would imagine if what you're saying is the problem it would be boiling over, which it's not. And like I said earlier I'm also not losing any coolant. The only time I really smell it is when I push the car hard, thus creating more heat or when I've been driving for a while, again creating more heat. My thoughts are the smell is due to the cap not being sealed all the way down, and the added heat from the Whipple causing it, but wth do I know lol

That's interesting. Only thing I can think of is maybe at WOT when the fluid rushes to the back of the tank, it's escaping out of the overflow hole, hitting the hot engine and evaporating at contact causing a smell and no visual signs of liquid.

Got my APR Splitter installed yesterday. Wow, that install was beast. Lack of instructions sucked. Thankfully I had @d4rk_hrs 's guide to reference. The look turned out awesome though!

That splitter completes the front-end! Bet you're glad the install is over!
Thanks Dave! Haha yeah, she was a beast to over come. Sadly, it's not over yet! I just clipped the bumper on real quick to get a good look and some pictures. She's not actually bolted on yet. I think I'm going to pull it off again and add a few more bolts to the front. Hard to see in the pictures, but it droops a little in the front. I figured a few more couldn't hurt! Lol

Thanks Jeff! Same here. Or even instructions on where to drill would have been nice :frusty: Lol. It's literally up to you to pick where to drill the 12 bolts.

did you use the bolts supplied read somewhere with the belly pan and the splitter some are short. Can't wait to see some full body shots. Again nice job.

Now APR or someone make a ABS version, APR is the only one that has the shape down that flows with the body. Gonna do it any ways at some point just don't have an CF atm to match.

Glad my install was able to help out.

Nothing like opening the box and staring at a slab of carbon fiber and a bag of bolts. Hopefully, our installs continue to help others.

Like I mentioned to you yesterday, I love the look of you car :hail::hail:

Yeah, I used all 12 bolts supplied. Hoping to get some decent shots this week.
