I need to do a front grille as well. Hell I got everything else done why not. :lol: Your S550 is coming along nicely.

I agree about the scoops. They sure do look good on yours and his, not sure how they'd look on black though, since stuff tends to get lost in black.

Thanks Jeff! Lol! Yeah hoping to have the front grille done by at least next week. I should get my calipers back sometime this week. I'm super stoked to throw those on and see what they look like.

Was wondering if you ever got a chance to measure the rods that come with the splitter. Found some nice black ones that is making think i might do rods. They have 2 sizes and wanted to know ahead of time, while i wait for one.

Quick update to the build. Hoping to have my Brembos back from the powder coater this week. Also finished up cutting out my stock grilles with [MENTION=18835]knightvision[/MENTION] to fit the steel mesh similar to [MENTION=11533]Project Whitemare[/MENTION] 's Strongarm Grilles. Let me say that cutting the OEM Grille to open it up was not hard at all using a Dremel with a plastic cutting blade.

Tomorrow we are going to fit the mesh, cut to size and drop off at the powder coater on Wednesday.

Also, ordered a black rear Roush Spoiler from [MENTION=9610]jayman33[/MENTION] at Hypermotive.

Quite a few changes on the way!

Thanks Jeff! They are by far my favorite grille on the S550.

Putting in some work the past couple of days with @knightvision on the mesh grille. Successfully cut out the plastic in the grille, positioned the grille on the mesh, traced and cut out. Also test fitted them on the bumper to get a glimpse of them and make sure they fit okay. They will be dropped off for Matte Black powder coat tomorrow. Hopefully will get them back sometime next week.

Zip tieing the grille to the mesh to trace a template out.

Once we cut it out, we test fitted them to the grilles.

Annnd, test fit on the bumper.

Also have an MMD Roof Spoiler on the way from @AMAlexLazarus for a great deal!
