Hey everyone so here is my build thread. I am a little late on starting it, but so far I have not done too much to the car yet. I purchased the car March 13, 2020 from a dealer in Illinois. The car is Twister Orange and has the Handling package, technology package, Recaro seats, carbon fiber dash bezel, and black vinyl stripes. Thankfully I only had to fork out $5k ADM, as I was not willing to go much higher. Here is the window sticker.

Here is the first day she came to me on the delivery truck. I paid for enclosed shipping from Illinois and somehow the car was still dirty.

The first two weeks I owned the car I did not get to do much driving as there was a lot of rain, but since then I have put about 1,400 miles on the car in the first month. The car is a blast to drive and I could not be happier.

The very first modification I made to the car was to change the color of the brake calipers. It is a shame that Ford does not give you the option to do so. My friend who owns a shop hooked me up with a guy who air brushes calipers while they are on the car using the stock paint code. He mostly does Lamborghinis, Ferraris, McLarens, etc. It cost me $700 and took a whopping 5 hours! He puts the Brembo decals on after spraying and then lays a clear coat over it. Such a nice convenience to not have to wait at least a week for the calipers to return from powder coating and will probably be just as, if not more durable. And as you can see the results are amazing.

Here is a picture of the car cover that came with the car. I actually did not order one, but I guess they decided to include one anyway. Really nice quality.

Small modification that I made was to add these brake deflectors from Steeda. The stock lower grille has a nice opening that allows air to go directly to the brakes. These mount to the lower control arm, where Ford conveniently had mounting points and redirect air to the center of the brakes. The holes just needed to be threaded and they bolted right up. Took about 15 minutes to install both on a lift.

I am getting ready to do a couple modifications as far as tune, CAI, catless pipes, so I decided to get a baseline dyno run done. Here is a video of the pulls.

The car made 712rwhp 562rwtq STD, 694rwhp 548rwtq SAE on 91 octane.

Is that a garage inside a parking garage? I've never seen that, pretty cool.

Awesome progress so far. I am liking the color matched brakes, good choice. Keep up the good work.
