Ford should come out with an intake/tune combo that is backed by the FACTORY warranty. It would help even out the game with the Camaro. I had the Ford Racing tune on my 12 and it made a big difference, especially with low end power.

Use the lever on the back of the seat....
Still doesn't "remember" its position.

In order, my wish list is:
Better clutch & shift feel
Taller gear option for the PP
19x10 wheel option
Dual mode exhaust

HUD & shift lights would be nice.

Mine does - goes right back to where it was. I never have to adjust the seat back via the side handle and I'm regularly flipping it forward to get things in and out.

Doesn't on my car with the base GT seats. At least not on the passenger side.

I don't use the passenger seat, so I can't speak for that. I'll have to try it later.

Pros & little hiccups

Few comments here, from my perspective ( having owned 17 Mustangs since my first new 5.0 / 302 cube in 1969 ) on the 6G Mustang:

I traded my stock / original 2012 Coyote GT with 2,500 miles for what I believe to be a truly "All New Mustang", the EcoBoost.

( Nothing negative implied about the new GT here !)

BTW, every other of my prev 16 Stangs were V8s.

So- now about my impressions:

I LOVE the car- So, the good stuff up front.

1.Body panel alignment is as perfect as I have seen.. and, yes, I do know what "straight" means. Paint is as flawless as I have seen in super expensive cars.
2. Drives & Handles impeccably.
3. Super Comfortable, and Very Nice Interior.
4. Unlike what others have found, the Cold Air Seats - freeze my back and arse, and the heated aspect is equally efficient.
5. At under 1K on the clock- not broken in yet- over 75 miles to Patriot Foxboro Stadium from Cape Cod- got a legit 38MPG !
6. Still plenty of throw-back cues to the '60s while remarkably modern in design.

Nit Picky-

1. Definitely do NOT prefer to have partial undercarriage disassembly by dealer techs to add stick-on heat shielding to satisfy the lawyers ( concerns of overheating when pushing the car to limits) - recall.

BUT- For a 1ST Year- Ground-up, all-new auto, it is expected to have something pop up after...

2. As someone said- Radio volume a bit tricky.

3. Don't like anything fake- piped in exaggerated engine sound not needed.

That is it.

IMO, Ford has made a Great New Mustang !

There was a thread I saw a few days ago and the Ford Racing rep said Q1 of 2016. Now to he fair they also said spring then summer then fall of 2015 and we are still waiting but this combo is coming.

Sunglasses storage? Okay, I guess that sort of makes sense, but now where anm I going to keep the spare magazines for my 1911?
Spare magazines? Assuming you're using it for 'self defense' and not ego boasting, you shouldn't need more than one magazine...

As far as what I would change; pretty much same thing as most people, rattles, body panel alignment especially when looking at the front end at an upward angle, and just overall QC but we're not paying 60k for a fancy European car so it's to be expected.

There is no such thing as having enough ammo in a fight. Carry as much as you can.

Maybe color, I can love and hate black at the same moment almost.

I would have preferred to have an option for an all season tire with the performance pack.

Can't really think of much else, there are minor things but all trade off items.

For me, only five things:
1. H or X pipe in place of resonator as stock
2. 255/45R18 standard width tires as opposed to the ridiculously undersized 235/5018 P-Zero Neros
3. Much stiffer IRS cradle bushings
4. Monotube rear shocks as standard on non-PP cars
5. Strut tower and K braces as standard

Less wieght, less wheel hop, taller gear ratio in 6sp trans, dip stick placing and non summer only tires on pp. All in all I love my car. It's my favorite car so far.
