Does anyone actually have a connection here in Atlanta that can tint my new gt500? I'm not sure what it is about this city, but it seems that everyone tints but no one responds, which is a huge pet peeve.
That's really good to know. Thanks a lot, @Canti. I'm downtown ATL and always curious to know who's around the area. So far I've had a better shot at getting in touch with Danny (he used to be extremely difficult to get in touch with). Still lives pretty far away from me (30+ minutes), but will...
Hi guys. I moved here to Atlanta about 2 years ago and had an extremely horrific experience at a dealership, leading to nearly 2 years of downtime. Finally got a rebuilt engine by RPG and back on the road!
Now I'm just looking to get the AC recharged and put the splitter back on. I'm just...
Yeah I agree. Sadly I wasn't aware of being able to get rid of the CEL after installing headers by simply using extensions. I kind of wish I had just dumped the money into going boosted if I knew I had already crossed the line to that extent. I heard that the factory OEM warranty is a lot more...
LOL. and yeah I agree it's sad that they punish you for it. It'd be one thing if they could tell me that an aftermarket part caused the failure but they didn't even look to that extent
Yeah I did but according to Ford it wasn't even the tune. I'm not even sure they knew I had a tune. They stated that the fact that I had just a cage in the car was a void of warranty.
Just realized I haven't updated this thread since this all happened a year ago. Long story short, Ford didn't want to get involved. ESP canceled my warranty on the spot after seeing a cage in the car. Ended up with a lazy lawyer and was exhausted several months into a really horrible settlement...
Thanks for the input guys. The uship website looks pretty nice actually. It's quite annoying waiting for people to "get back to me" on these transport quotes. I'm extremely tempted to use this website tonight and call it a done deal. Just want to do a little bit more on the research side.
LOL
Yeah you're right. I just honestly didn't know if there was an easier way for me to make this work. I figured if there was a simpler way to do it myself that'd only take a few minutes, it'd be worth it since I'd essentially be driving right behind the transport vehicle to visit family...
Thanks man. I think one of the other issues with having smaller tires would be getting the car up on the trailer to begin with -- I realized that after I considered getting another set of wheels/tires.
Do you think it'd be worth it though if I'm headed to the same place? I feel like there should/could be an easier way for me to just take it with me, but no clue how lol
Hi guys. Many of you know my situation where Ford screwed me over about a year ago on an oil change and cost me an engine, lawyers, and all kinds of madness.
I'm looking to visit my family back in New Orleans and want to bring my car with me to get it fixed. I've looked into hiring a transport...
