Oh please, nobody's out to oppress you unless it makes them a buck. They won't make tracking mandatory because they don't have to as long as people are willing to sign up for an app that offers them some trinket. And nobody stole your election, it turns out that people foolish enough to mindlessly believe everything they hear are thankfully still a small minority.

The last page got to a point that something needed to be said IMHO. I had another thread that went along with this one in the general section that was locked for politics. There is a lot of good info here, and it would be a shame to see it locked.

There's lots to discuss on this topic. It's quite the outrage that corporations figure out how to obtain your data and use it against you.

I would also add the amount of money they make off of our data, and much of it without our knowledge, at least as to how much of it they actually use (I would add consent but typically it’s in the super fine print that hardly anyone reads so they get you there).

I haven’t seen too many instances of someone’s data being used against them yet, but I’m sure it’s coming with all of these “connected” vehicles. If I recall from another thread, I think you said your wife is a lawyer? Perhaps she’s seen more than what the general public has in that regard.

Yes, multiple instances where peoples insurance and insurance records are forever tainted. Let me find some references for you to make a point. It's late, I've had a long hard day, so let me gather some references tomorrow.
