  1. A very Shelby Christmas!

I bought the wall art myself. I guess Tom would need his custom made without the shaft fin, lol. Son made me the emblem in shop. it’s a wonderful Shelby Christmas!
  2. Philadelphia Cars and Coffee finale Sunday, anyone going?

What time is the meet up?
  3. Philadelphia Cars and Coffee finale Sunday, anyone going?

I'm thinking of heading down, will any other forum members be there? Weather channel forecasts a low of 30 and a high of 49. I suppose it will be 40 or maybe a little below when it's time to pull out of the heated garage. Will my cup 2s be in jeopardy of cracking if I go...
  4. The "how to disable the data link to Ford" thread

How much of that has changed from the S550. I tried reading the 2021 owners manual online and didn't find anything tas ominous as what he was reporting about the S650, but it is cumbersome reading.
  5. The "how to disable the data link to Ford" thread

I think ford's crash alert works via ones cell phone. at least that's the way it worked on older vehicles before the modem came factory installed. Also, I've seen cars with 4G delete on the window sticker. I'm presuming the crash alert still woks on those cars.
  6. I wonder why this one was totaled?

In another thread someone said they had a searchable database for sold cars. I haven't found it. Only place I found reference to that seemed to be if you were a copart member.
  7. I wonder why this one was totaled?

I'll Answer what’s most likely a troll post. I usually track my Mustangs. Been doing it without a roll bar since my kids were young and would occasionally ride in the back seat. Now that they are older I have a CFTP. I’m also restoring a 65 mustang. Those two things are making me reluctant to...
  8. Winter is Coming-What's the latest CUP 2 management options?

What are northern guys doing for insulated garage doors sealing? Insulated doors are easy to find and do a good job, except the edges that are just sealed by a little piece of vinyl. Anyone try this? https://thermotraks.com/
  9. 32-mile '22 GT500 CFTP HE for sale...

When I was looking, only a few short weeks ago, there were several HE CFTPs for sale new. Similar pricing
  10. I wonder why this one was totaled?

And it answers the other question in my mimd, why is it missing the CF wheels.
  11. I wonder why this one was totaled?

If all it needs is a rear bumper cover?? https://www.copart.com/lot/69505413/salvage-2020-ford-mustang-shelby-gt500-tn-knoxville
  12. Winter is Coming-What's the latest CUP 2 management options?

I don't know where the attitude is coming from in your post, but 1) My wheels are carbon fiber, not aluminum, but regardless of that I didn't challenge your assertion that flow formed wheels were good enough for the street. I shopped around and see a set of SVE CFX wheels for $1250 so not too...
  13. Winter is Coming-What's the latest CUP 2 management options?

I should edit my post, I meant to say 1.5-2K per set. As for tires, I only looked at Tire rack, and all but the Nittos 555 at $350 ish, are 5-600, plus mounting balancing etc, so I just said $600 each.
  14. Winter is Coming-What's the latest CUP 2 management options?

I live in southeast Pa, doesn't get too cold but definitely goes below 50. I have mini split in my garage but typically only had it on when i'm working in there. I don't ever try to work when it's 0° F so I'm not sure if it could keep the garage over 50 on the coldest days. Garage also not...
  15. Better late than never, I hope

Shout out to the Jaeger Brothers. Car came with their splash guards on it. One had come loose and spun and got a little chewed up. Even though I bought the car with them installed and hadn't bought them myself, they hooked me up with a replacement.
  16. Better late than never, I hope

My 2017 GT350 definitely had the crappy chrome capped lug nuts.
  17. Better late than never, I hope

Thanks for the information. Not for final torquing obviously, but do you use an impact for removal and spinning the lugs back down? I do have a selection of sockets in the nominal size that all fit a little different. I’ll see which one fits the tightest.
  18. Better late than never, I hope

I hear you both, but there are times that one wants to listen to some tunes. And while factory stereos have always been pretty abysmal, they weren't part of a 3K package. And. like I said, my F150 system is better. If my memory serves the ancient Mach 460 systems in my SN95s were better. The...
  19. Better late than never, I hope

Spent yesterday on the car. 1) Washing the car. Car most likely has some ceramic coating where the PPF isn't, or maybe also on top of the PPF as well. Dirt just ran right off the car. How does one resist the urge to remove all four wheels at each washing to clean the back barrel of the wheels...
