ok, thats what i thought. 5chp variance, ill take it lol. totally within reason and emissions/longevity. not that it truly matters to me, it will be FBO/E85 by years end anyway, just a nice starting point
What is FBO?

Full Bolt On
intake, headers, exhaust, ( pulley in this case) tuned, tires . possibly/probably ported blower
I should have guessed that one.

I'm curious what porters will get out of it. The inlet path looks "tortured".

realistically it depends on what the shops get out of the car before DCT issues. Im comfortable intake/exhaust tune/E85- fairly certain ford is leaving that power on the table. Ive dealt with that DCT shit before/not going to be the guinea pig for that again

Smart move.

I'll be doing zero power mods to my car until I see a long history of what works/doesn't.

My focus will be on cooling.

FBO?
Everything on the Engine and drivetrain is a bolt on. I never understood why people say bolt ons.

How about people that claim stock motor.....but have huge exhaust, intake, etc? For example:

"My stock Coyote makes 650rwhp with a Whipple".

and:

-$3000 in exhaust
-$1000 in injectors
-$400 for a pump booster
-OPG's
-And oh yeah, I spin it to 7,800rpm

They're just taking the time to dial it at exactly 777....it'll be making 800 plus when fully rapped out just like the 2018 Coyote actually makes closer to 500HP.

once you add forced induction or OPEN the motor, its no longer "Bolt On"

same as above
the "motor" is stock, as in no valvetrain or internals touched
"My stock Coyote makes 650rwhp with a Whipple". makes sense to racers, hey told you an unopened engine, with a whipple, the supporting fuel and bolt ons, tuning are expected

From an engineering perspective exhaust is part of the motor. Just like the CAI is. It's part of the overall system. If you change one single part in the system, it's not stock. It would be the same for suspension. You're not running a stock suspension if you have springs, or control arms, or bushing, or dampers, or CC plates, etc. A lot of people claim "stock suspension" because they haven't changed any geometry and'or pickup points.

I'm ok with:

-Stock motor with exhaust.
-Stock motor with bolt ons.
-Stock longblock

I am not ok with "stock motor" if anything from the air filter to the cat back is not stock. Especially when things like exhaust are worth so much power.
