Finished up my garage lift project so the boys have their own dedicated space to hang, next bay over from their little sister. Also got the wife’s car back into the space you can’t see.

Namaste, there’s peace in the valley!

Nice set up. Get those ramps off there before you end up with stitches.

After my last track day I noticed that I had a bit of a ”clunk” when hitting the brakes. Turned out to be a bad ball joint (I use ALL of the track which includes the rumble strips and curbing).

So, today I replaced my front upper control arms (tension links) with a set from Steeda with the spherical bearings pre-installed.

Looks good man! Have you got any decent time on these yet to appreciate and/or note differences vs stock? (pre-bad ball joints obviously) Curious on the feedback, as I've not come across anyone who's stated anything detailed. Been wanting to do these also.

Seeing a lot of people putting away their cars for the long cold winter ahead. Can't do it. Seasonal depression is bad enough. Without the stang it would be even worse. Threw on some winter shoes to forge ahead through the dreary days... The car isn't quite the same but I'll take it over nada.
PP2 OEMs with PS4S to PP1 OEM Nickels with Sottozeros. Better than nothing.

You and I are similar! A few years back I got the Ford performance PP1 wheels in the silver option, for winter duty.

Just installed them yesterday. Only difference so far is that I don’t have the “clunk“ from the bad ball joint anymore.

I’ve got a date with Texas Track Works in a week and a half for them to install Vorshlag camber plates and add in some additional negative camber.

I haven’t scheduled another track day yet, but excited to see how she handles with these two mods.

Sometimes it’s the little things. I had an old fender cover that was ripping so I got a new one. Also got a brighter back up bulb and lost a hood insulation clip a while back. My OCD won’t let it go so I picked some up. Got a cool sticker from CJPP for my order

Awesome. I'll check back in a while to see what you've found. How did the install go?

You'll love that DD XPR bulb, I have the same for the reverse light, also from CJPP.

Install was pretty easy. I previously purchased a ball joint separator when I replaced the stock GT control arms with the PP1 versions with the air deflectors, so I was glad I invested in the right tool for the job.

I used a wire brush to remove the old loctite from the frame bolt and used some Permatex orange thread locker. The original ball joint nut is nylock but the one that came with the Steeda kit wasn't, so I used a small drop on that nut and marked both the bolt and nut with a paint pen for later inspection to make sure nothing moved 👍
