This was my first time removing the rear bumper (I’ve removed the front 10+ times) so I did my research, watched some YouTube videos, and read about the possibility of breaking tabs… so, I took it nice, easy, and slow and was able to remove it without breaking anything. Re-installation is...
I went with Vorshlag front and rear tow hooks. The rear installs without any cutting or modifications. The front does require cutting a slot in the lower plastic grill. I haven’t installed the front yet (should be able to get to it this weekend).
In Memoriam: The Heart of a 2015 Mustang GT
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the retirement of a truly remarkable engine, a spirited 5.0-liter V8 that valiantly powered a 2015 Ford Mustang GT for 98,000 miles. This engine, not just a mere assembly of metal and machinery, was a loyal...
How old is your battery? When I replaced mine I noticed an immediate improvement on startup time (not that it was bad before, but I did notice the extra cranking amps available now).
It was really straight forward. I just watched a couple of YouTube videos on removing the rear bumper đź‘Ť
I’m happy with the look and not having to cut anything or lose the reverse light (as with the Ford Performance version).
I still need to do the front, and that will require a little bit of...
Today I went back to the stock heat range 7 NGK LTR7CP13 spark plugs. I previously installed the hotter heat range 6 NGK 6509 plugs based on NGKs website picker.
Yeah, that diff fluid smell is something else!
When I changed mine last year I let it linger in the drain pan for a few days until my wife asked if “something crawled into the garage and died”
Thank you, sir! I’ve learned so much from this forum and its amazing members. I’m very glad to be part of it and share my story in hopes that it might help someone else.
I see @ice445 already answered your questions about the belly pan. That’s going to be an important pairing with your...
Can you share more details and part numbers on your divorced clutch reservoir setup?
Did you just cap off the port on the brake master cylinder reservoir or switch to the automatic version?
You’ve got a good basic list. I would definitely add glass cleaner and a glass cleaning towel. Even if you clean the inside and outside of the windshield before you go, it’s good to bring that stuff with you if you get a big bug splat during a session.

Time for some tow hooks! Since the long-term goal for my car is to eventually be a dedicated track car, I went with a permanent install instead of opting for something I can remove (like the ZL1 Addons).
I opted for the Vorshlag front and rear tow hooks as I like...
This!
The gearing in the MT-82 D4 trans in our 2018 models leaves a lot to be desired for performance driving. I've spent my mods budget for the year, but I'm looking to go to 4.09:1 rear gearing to help out 3rd and 4th gears on the track (closed road course).
I put together this spreadsheet...

Over the three years I’ve had this amazing car, I’ve only done cooling, suspension, and brake mods to the GT. I finally decided to “wake up“ the engine a little bit by installing the Ford Performance calibration with cold air intake and throttle body kit (M-9603-M8B)...
Nice cloudy day, so I gave her a 2 bucket wash. Yesterday I installed the Vorshlag rear tow hook (ran out of time to install the front hook, will tackle that another day).
