  1. Aftermarket Mach 1 Bumper Fender Liner Issues

To Cobra Jet 's point, does the afmkt company say anything about compatibility with OEM GT fender liners? You can't assume, but then again, experience and years in this space would tell one that. If not, looks like a case of the afmkt company not paying attention to, and letting customers...
  2. Aftermarket Mach 1 Bumper Fender Liner Issues

Is that your factory fender liner? If so, makes sense it would not line up, as the OEM Mach 1 front fascia only lines up to a bespoke Mach 1-specific fender liner. Base vs PP1/PP2 vs Mach 1 vs GT350 vs GT500 all use different fender liners.
  3. Differential Issue When Turning Sharp (Dangerous!!!)

Based on your timeline of events, looks like you bought the Cali Special new? If so, I wonder if there was no friction modifier added to the differential gear oil (or not enough of it) from the factory fill. Seems like a rare possibility, but especially with Ford, we all know anything can...
  4. Rear End Sway- Problem?

Not sure what temps have been in Denver lately, but obviously cool ambients and new tires that may still have the mold release coating on them due to still being new, don't equal good traction. However, your issue didn't sound like lack of traction, more an issue of it feeling unsettled and...
  5. Rear End Sway- Problem?

Congrats on the purchase! I saw your other thread on it. A lot of folks will rightly point to rear suspension sub-frame bushings and all the alignment kits and inserts you can buy from the aftermarket like Steeda etc., and that might do some good to clean up some of the slop these cars have...
  6. Some unexpected winter storage questions

OP, Skye's post has a very good checklist, and I would reiterate the above - avoid, if it all possible, starting and running for a few minutes then shutting down. It's become a misconception for whatever reason to do this, but it's not recommended, as this can do more harm than good. Car isn't...
  7. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

Awesome, thanks for the info! I'm not sure if it's the same brand, but I saw an identical-looking unit on Amazon a while back, I added it my list for future buying - looks like I can use your post as confirmation it'll work decently :sunglasses:
  8. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

You'll love that DD XPR bulb, I have the same for the reverse light, also from CJPP.
  9. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

Awesome. I'll check back in a while to see what you've found. How did the install go?
  10. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

Love this! Looks so clean and integrated, OE-like.
  11. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

You and I are similar! A few years back I got the Ford performance PP1 wheels in the silver option, for winter duty.
  12. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

Looks good man! Have you got any decent time on these yet to appreciate and/or note differences vs stock? (pre-bad ball joints obviously) Curious on the feedback, as I've not come across anyone who's stated anything detailed. Been wanting to do these also.
  13. PP2 real life pictures

You're right, I forgot about that, lots of wheel options. Ford did great with the PP2 wheel design though. Np, good luck. Sto N Sho updated their site recently, now we can see easier which submodel of Mustang to choose the right bracket.
  14. PP2 real life pictures

Thank you sir. Yup, Sto N Sho, specifically for PP2. Ignore if you're already aware, but make sure it's this specific version of Sto N Sho: https://stonsho.com/collections/mustang/products/2018-2021-ford-mustang-gt-with-performance-pack-2-sns135c I'm lowered just under an inch, and just make it...

Still kickin'. Running errands a few weeks ago:
  16. Clearance issue with magnaride and ajustable swaybar links.

Depends on what FP stuff you get. For example, I installed the M-5300-W FP Magneride lowering springs - springs only. These were made to be compatible with OEM Magneride GT Mustangs, including PP1, PP2 and also GT350, but it does not require re-calibrating. The ride height drop and spring rate...
  17. Clearance issue with magnaride and ajustable swaybar links.

It's a valid question, but it's perfectly safe. More reputable aftermarket companies like Steeda, and then also Ford Performance themselves, all have suspension upgrades for the Magneride cars, like lowering springs, sway bars, etc., and there's no ill-effects of upgrading. I don't know the full...
  18. Clearance issue with magnaride and ajustable swaybar links.

A while back, some other members who installed the Steeda adj. front endlinks and front sway bars had the same issue - try removing the bar-end of the endlink and re-mounting it so that the the threaded bolt/nut is facing outward, instead of inward, how you have it now (i.e., reverse the...
