So wait. I must be missing something. 800 + hp into a “lowly” MT82? By definition that would have to mean that either SA engineers have no idea what they’re doing, or the hundreds (thousands?) of disparaging comments about the MT82 are just typical internet yapping. Can’t have it both ways...

As a lifetime car guy and body/paint nitpicker I sure agree with the comments above about Rapid Red. It’s a beautiful color and I have one myself but I bought it full well knowing that if anything happened it would be a biotch to match, if it could even be done. To me it looks a lot like HOK CAR.

Given the prices on primo examples vs. original sticker I’d say in many cases the motivation is attempted profiteering. And often you can leave out the “attempted” part of that. Who doesn’t want the baddest mammer jammer out there?

As bad as the panel work and factory paint can be, nothing in those last two pictures looks factory to me. Even the paintwork on the outside surfaces shown in your pics looks off. I‘d consider paying a high end body shop a few bucks to tell you if it’s been repaired. Looks like it was finished...
